Kamelot Announces Guest Vocalist

Brazilian vocalist Eduardo Falaschi (Angra/Almah) will join Kamelot on stage for the band's upcoming appearance in São Paulo this April 9th, 2011. Eduardo commented:

"It’s a lot of honor for me to perform live with my friend Casey, Thomas and all the guys from Kamelot. Today the band counts on the great singer Fabio Lione who helps them in this tour. They called me to take part in this show in my home town city, São Paulo! It’s clear that I immediately said 'yes!' We are talking about Kamelot! One of my favorites metal bands ever! For those who don’t know, Casey recorded the drum parts for the first Almah’s CD in 2006 and since then we have become friends even more. And especially due to this fact I will do my best in order to give to all Kamelot fans an unforgettable night! I’ll put my heart on it! See you there soon!"

Kamelot's Thomas Youngblood also added:

"I am very pleased to have our good buddy Edu Falaschi (Angra, Almah) joining us on stage at the São Paulo concert this April 9th! We ran into each other recently in LA and that’s when the idea to sing with us in Brazil came about. It will be a night to remember!"

The band's upcoming South American dates are as follows:

April 07 – Santiago de Chile, CHI @ Teatro Teleton
April 08 – Buenos Aires, ARG @ Vélez Sarsfield Stadium (special guest act for Iron Maiden)
April 09 – São Paulo, BRA @ Espaço Lux
April 10 – Porto Alegre, BRA @ Opinião Bar
April 12 – Bogotá, COL @ Teatro Metropol
April 14 – Mexico City, MEX @ Circo Volador

Almah To Enter The studio

Brazilian prog power metal band, ALMAH (feat. ANGRA members Edu Falaschi and Felipe Andreoli), are currently preparing new material for their third studio album, at the same time promoting its predecessor "Fragile Equality." Almah’s singer Edu Falaschi gave official comments about the present stage of work:

“It’s a great pleasure to inform you that very soon we will have a new Almah album in our hands, completely composed. The chemistry of the current line-up is so good and the results we have got with Fragile Equality have been so fantastic, that we can’t stop working at our new songs. All of them sound with a lot of energy, with modern and heavy passages. Certainly, this third CD is a mix of everything that Almah has done on its first two albums, for sure, besides new approaches, sounds and ideas. Very soon we will launch some videos and photos of our work at pre-production of the album and most probably – some parts of new songs! The studio recording is pre-scheduled for the middle of September and the release of the album is to be in the first half of 2010."
