"Tony J.J from M.A.N. is going to put some guest vocals on at least one of the tracks. Really looking forward to that, he has a fantastic metal voice. We have a gig at STICKY FINGERS, Göteborg next Friday on the 20th. New songs will be performed so get there if you live in the area See you!

Hostile Cell Issues Recording Update

Swedish metallers Hostile Cell have issued the following recording update:

"Hey all

"Sorry for the lack of updates. As you all have heard me say before, we have a fantastic album in the works. I'm starting vocal tracking next week, which will be a real challenge =) This album recording has been super slow due to some circumstances that I can't get into at this moment. The most important thing is that we get this album, that we are really proud of, out there as soon as it's done. When the album is finished, we will make new announcements that will clear up the situation that has slowed us down. Stay heavy!"

A video clip of Hostile Cell in the recording studio can be also be viewed below. More...

Hostile Cell Issues Studio Update

Swedish metal band Hostile Cell has issued the following recording update:

"I just want to let you know that everything is going great in the studio. A bit slow but the results are just supercool.
This album will have it all, I'm serious. It'll be miles apart from our debut album. More of everything. Imagine the combination of Iron Maidens twin leads, Disturbeds rythmic riffing, Papa Roach rock choruses and Alice in Chains groove. What the fuck, is this guy serious, you might say?"

"Hey all!

"Hope you're doing great. The wheels are spinning in the Hostile Cell camp and we are going to start tracking bass and guitars for the next album in approximately one week.

"This album will kick major ass, and hopefully we'll be visiting somewhere near you to play it live next spring/summer"

Hostile Cell Issues Studio Update

Guitarist Martin, of Swedish metal band, Hostile Cell, has issued the following studio update:

"I've been pre-recording some vocals in the studio while waiting for Eric to finish the drums. My feeling about the new material is that it contains some extremely heavy riffing. But instead of going in there and growling my guts out I will focus on the melodies and do a lot more real singing than on our debut." More...

Hostile Cell Issues Recording Update

Hostile Cell has issued the following update about recording a new album:

"We have rehearsed and pre-recorded 12 songs live in the rehearsal room.

"It's 12 killer songs out of probably 20 or more song ideas that will make it onto our next record.

"Eric started laying down some drums yesterday and tomorrow we will arrange a song nr13 and see if it's good enough. It has a killer riff to the verse, real fuckin heavy, kind of like Slipknot meets Slayer crossbred with Static-X... And the chorus which I have written lyrics and melody to is very melodic.

"We are hoping to release the album this fall or winter so be prepared to get crushed!!!"
