Black Breath Enters The Studio
Seattle's BLACK BREATH has entered Kurt Ballou's God City Studios (Converge, Trap Them, Disfear) to record their new album, "Heavy Breathing," due out on March 30th via Southern Lord Records. The band will hit the road in May alongside Converge, Gaza, Coalesce, Lewd Acts, and Harvey Milk. BLACK BREATH tour dates with Converge are as follows:

Black Breath Signs To Southern Lord Recordings
Southern Lord Recordings has announced the official signing of Washington's BLACK BREATH. Their mini album, "Razor To Oblivion," is set for re-release on Southern Lord on November 10th, and their debut full-length will see its release in early 2010.

Victims Announces New Member, EP, and Tour
Victims announced through the Deathwish Inc. page that they have picked up a new member for their band.
"...We're proud and happy to announce our new/second/first/lead/rhythm guitar player (Oh, let's put it this way: we have TWO guitar players now). Ladies and gents, Gareth Smith. He joined early this year and is doing great with us! After his break up with long time lover RAGING SPEEDHORN (1998-2008) he felt the need to keep trashing and here he is now. We won't just sit around in the rehearsal space making plans to take over the world or perfecting our sound..."
Victims is releasing a new 7" EP, "Lies, Lies, Lies" but hasn't announced a release date. The two-song record features artwork from J.Bannon (Converge) and is reportedly "hook-laden" and "infectious."
Victims is also striking out with label mates Trap Them and Hot Mass band Black Breath. You can see the tour dates after the jump. More...

Amorphis Performs at El Corazon in Seattle, WA
On the night of October 10th, Finnish mythology came to life at El Corazon in Seattle, WA when Amorphis dropped in town. Along with these Finns came Switzerland’s Samael and Virgin Black from down under. Also on the bill were two local Seattle bands, Black Breath and Asema. Black Breath opened the show with some extended groove-metal hardcore and metalcore screaming, pumping energy into the crowd and prepping them for the rest of the other bands. More...
