Deterrence Post Band Update
Toronto-based death metal band DETERRENCE have posted the following update:
"At this time we are excited to announce the re-launch of Deterrence.
Very recently there have been some major changes with the band, including a brand new line-up, and an amazing new management team.
Deterrence is an entirely new band. We haven't lost our edge; the music is still straight up heavy as fuck, and we will still be playing songs from both the debut and from the EP. But as we are beginning a new chapter, we wanted to set the record straight: this is most definitely a new Deterrence.
With regards to new music, we expect to be back in the studio at the end of summer to record a new full-length CD.
We are anticipating the release of the new CD to follow in late 2008. The new CD will be more musically mature; heavier, more technical, better than anything you've ever heard from us. Pretty much everything you've come to expect from us, but more.
We will be heading back on the road this summer for an East Coast tour. We will be releasing dates soon; look for us to be in your area in late summer. We have a few bands in the works; look for updates as they are available."
