Megadeth Checks In With Tour Recap
Megadeth band assistant Rikki Cameron has checked in with the following recap of Megadeth's "American Carnage" and "Canadian Carnage" tours:
"And at long last, we finally get a little bit of rest! Canadian Carnage and now American Carnage has ended and Megadeth and their crew is taking a much deserved rest for a couple of weeks before we head back out for the Jagermeister Music Tour to kick your butts all over again. It feels like we've been going non-stop since we started touring in March, the very first of the Rust In Peace 20th Anniversary shows. And certainly since the return of our beloved David Ellefson.
"Thankfully, we were able to chronicle that first leg of the Rust In Peace tour by putting out a DVD- Megadeth Rust In Peace Live from the Hollywood Palladium show on March 31, 2010. The DVD and CD were released this week, so definitely make sure you pick it up! I had not seen any of the footage from the filming before this was released and after days of searching to buy it, I finally got my hands on a copy yesterday. Thank you Hot Topic for carrying it, Best Buy was all sold out!! I must say, those of you who have seen the backstage footage will know what I'm talking about, I am incredibly humbled and borderline speechless at the appreciation shown for my hard work by Mr. Mustaine. I love my job, I love what I do, I love the people I work for and with and all of their families. I'm truly blessed to have found a 'family' who not only takes me for what I am, but appreciates me for it and isn't afraid to say so. More...

Shawn Drover Checks In From The Road
Megadeth's Shawn Drover has checked in with the following recap of the band's recent show at the Cow Palace:
"Well, last night was fun. Lars asked us to play 'My last words' 2 minutes before we went onstage - and being as we have never even rehearsed that tune with this lineup and Megadeth hasn't played that tune since 2005 in the land of OZ, I think we pulled it off rather well. Don't worry though, next time Metallica comes to where I live, I will return the favor and ask them DURING their show to play the most obscure tune they haven't played in years! Baaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa
"All kidding aside, that was actually really fun to just wing it and enjoy the moment. I hope the crowd did enjoy it as well. As you would fathom for San Fran, lots of musicians backstage and mingling to be had. All fun stuff and a good night was had by all. Life doesn't suck, humans. I am more Metal than you."
David Ellefson Checks In From The Road
Megadeth's David Ellefson has checked in with the following comments on the band's show in Long Beach:
"What an awesome night in Long Beach, CA! Sold out in advance and a killer pit as well. Another great hang backstage with everyone like Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Tony Campos (Static X), Dino Cazares (Fear Factory), Metal Sanaz and Kenny G (that's right, he's very metal!). LA is always a good hang of the west coast metal crew who come out to see a good metal show and tonight seemed to be the one. It was good to be back at this particular arena where we've played so many times over the years as both a support act for Alice Cooper and Dio in the1980's and then headlining since 1992."
