Arsonists Get All The Girls Announce Tour Dates
ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS have informed the music industry that heavy, technical music can be successful since unveiling their Century Media debut album, The Game of Life. The band has created a sound all their own and have become well known for their brand of grind, which has even been featured on MTV’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel II. Now ARSONISTS are back with a brand new effort called Portals which has been highly anticipated from fans and press alike. The album was recorded by Zack Ohren (As Blood Runs Black, All Shall Perish) and features 11 glorious grinders like “My Cup’s Half Empty” and “Violence in Fluid –Triceratops”.
Portals, sees the band in new form, now using only one vocalist instead of their previous two singer attack. The presence of the one vocalist serves to sharpen the band’s straight-ahead metal attack and more importantly creates a cohesive album the flows perfectly from start to finish. Produced by the extremely talented Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish), Portals surely establishes ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS as innovators of experimental music and will continue the band’s path to becoming metal titans.
ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS are also extremely excited to announce the Lambgoat sponsored No Care Ever Tour, which sees them headlining across North America. On the Canadian dates of the trek, direct support will come from label mates THE AGONIST and also features APFP, Chelsea Grin, Attila and Execute The Sinner. See You Next Tuesday will be providing direct support in the US alongside Knives Exchanging Hands, Attila and Fell Silent. The band has just completed the European Thrash & Burn tour and drummer Garin Rosen comments: “This whole tour is a dream come true. Finally coming to Europe and watching kids that can't speak a word of English singing along to every word. I can't wait to come back and bang my head with the crazy Europeans yet again!”

Arsis Prepares For Thrash And Burn Tour
Determined to complete a tour with no car accidents, illnesses, or other distressing turmoil and ready to brave the road once again for the upcoming Thrash And Burn Tour, ARSIS bassist Noah Martin checks in to bring us up-to-date on tour preparations and the band’s newest addition:
“We’re really pumped about this tour. I don’t think there’s anything that will prevent us from finishing it. [Lead singer/guitarist] Jim [Malone]’s over his pneumonia. He’s been working out and running, and he feels better than ever. We even have new management that’s helping us move forward. They’re AMAZING. Hopefully our tour laminates will come with a lucky rabbit’s foot! [laughter] Right now we’re going over to [Anthrax singer] Dan Nelson’s place to rehearse for about three days before the Thrash And Burn tour starts. Our new drummer is Shawn Priest from Idaho. All the best drummers are coming outta nowhere from the Midwest! We screened him through his video on YouTube, and when we hooked up, he learned ‘We Are The Nightmare’ in a day and a half. We’re REALLY excited about this. We’re gonna have new drum parts in our songs off the new album. It’s gonna be WAY thrashier, more in-your-face. ‘Servants To The Night’ has been added to the set list because of Shawn. We’d like to keep him on as full-time, so we’ll see how he does on this tour. His flight to New York got delayed and he had to sleep in the airport, but he took it like a champ, so he’ll fit right in, putting up with a bunch of bullshit right from the start! [laughter] We’ll see if we can get him to drink boxed wine. First post on Blabbermouth gets a free beer at one of our shows!”
The video to the title track off of We Are The Nightmare recently received an outpouring of fan votes on MTV2's "Your Vote Counts" for inclusion on the next episode of Headbangers Ball. View the trailer to We Are The Nightmare’s bonus DVD here. An ARSIS live show photo gallery can be viewed at the Metal Fanatix website.

Dead To Fall Call It Quits
DEAD TO FALL, the Chicago- and Minneapolis-based deathcore band, has officially split up.
Commented vocalist Jonathan Hunt: "DEAD TO FALL is no more. After nine years, it's time to say goodbye. There really isn't an easy way to say this, but the DEAD TO FALL machine broke beyond repair this last weekend. I guess the financial, personal, and emotional strains wore some of us down and caused a violent collapse."
"After a show in Wisconsin, Logan [Kelly, guitar] and Chad [M. Fjerstad, bass] quit this past weekend. I won't go into the whole 'behind-the-music-band-break-up' scenario, but it was a night filled with retarded actions and words. The rest of us don't want to go through yet another major lineup change and really are just ready for a new chapter in our lives."
"The Supermassive Fist tour with IMPENDING DOOM, ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS and SEA OF TREACHERY is continuing on without us. We have no idea if we are going to play a last show or not, but at this point there is nothing planned." More...

Arsonists Get All The Girls Announce New Members
Century Media Records reports:
Following the tragic loss of bass player Patrick Jones, ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS have vowed to carry on in his honor with and are pleased to welcome Adam Swan to the fold.
They will get back on the road starting February 10th with MY CHILDREN MY BRIDE, FOR THE FALLEN DREAMS and STRAY THE PATH. Visit www.myspace.com/agatg for their complete tour itinerary.
Arthur Alvarez (guitars) states: “With the tragic loss of our great friend and bass player Patrick Jones, we are forced to bring a new member into the band. Adam Swan, our good friend for years has joined the Arsonist camp on bass. All of us have known Adam for years and we couldn’t think of anyone else better fit for the job. Patrick will never be replaced as our bass player, but we are forced to move forward as what he would have wanted. He will always be in our hearts.
“Nick has also decided to step down from playing guitar. He has decided to move on with his life and pursue a different career. We have no hard feelings and wish him the best of luck. He will always remain a close friend whether it is in the band or not. Derek Yarra has joined on guitar and after our first practice with him we are shredding more than ever. This guy is a beast! Be sure to check us on the road in Feb. with My Children My Bride, For The Fallen Dreams and Stray the Path. Be sure to come say hi and make these guys feel at home. Arsonists Get All The Girls Schedule Benefit Show
Santa Cruz, California-based progressive hardcore/death metal band ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS has scheduled a benefit show for the family of its late bassist, Patrick Mason, who passed away on November 30. The concert will take place on December 28 at The 418 in Santa Cruz and will feature performances by KNIGHTS OF THE ABYSS, ELYSIA, ANIMOSITY and ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS.
For more information, visit the ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS MySpace page.
ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS released its debut offering, "Hits From The Bow", on Process Records in 2006. They went on to tour the U.S. and shared the stage with bands such as THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, THE NUMBER 12 LOOKS LIKE YOU, ED GEIN and HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW. The group previously described itself as "the derailment of a gay train on its way to straight town."
After signing with Century Media Records, ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS released a new record, "The Game of Life", which was recorded with Zack Ohren of Castle Ultimate (ANIMOSITY, LIGHT THIS CITY).
More Dates For Throwdown Tour Confirmed
THROWDOWN will headline The Scum Of The Earth Tour, which is set to kick off in February and will cross the United States (and some Canadian cities as well) through early April. It is the band's first headlining tour in support of their new album, "Venom & Tears," which was released in August.
Joining Throwdown on the bill for the Scum Of The Earth Tour, which is presented by Black Rose District Clothing, will be Swedish metal madmen Soilwork, whose own "Sworn to a Great Divide" was recently released to rave reviews from fans and critics. THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD are also onboard, touring in support of a new album of their own, "Malice." War Of Ages rounds out what is sure to be a devastating lineup.
"We haven't headlined our own tour in a long time, which is exciting," commented Throwdown frontman Dave Peters. "The most rewarding thing about playing our songs live is interacting and communicating with the audience. And now that our new album has been out for a few months, the songs have had a chance to really sink in, and we're looking forward to seeing people's reactions to songs both new and old."
"We're also very stoked to be touring with Soilwork who are coming all the way over from Sweden," Peters added. "And with THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD and War Of Ages onboard, it's a very strong and diverse bill."
"Venom & Tears" is Throwdown's fastest-selling album, garnering favorable comparisons to landmark records by legendary metal bands while offering newfound metallic depth and emotional complexity. Peters recently interviewed Sepultura/ Soulfly founder Max Cavalera for Revolver's "Rebel Meets Rebel" feature.
Throwdown have spent the last four years on the road as part of Vans Warped Tour, Ozzfest, Sounds of the Underground and as support for Machine Head, Soulfly, Lamb Of God, In Flames and As I Lay Dying, pausing briefly to write and record "Venom & Tears" and 2005's "Vendetta" album.
Soilwork is currently part of a massive US tour with Killswitch Engage and Lamb Of God. The band's new single is featured as a downloadable track for Guitar Hero III. THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD will soon shoot another video with director Dave Brodsky, having taken part in a sold-out tour with All That Remains and As I Lay Dying. War Of Ages is busy writing the followup to Pride of the Wicked, which will be produced by Tim Lambesis.
The Scum Of The Earth Tour will be preceded by Throwdown dates in smaller cities on the West Coast with My Children My Bride and Arsonists Get All The Girls in support. Look for confirmed dates for that very soon.
"We're going to be stepping up our production on this tour as well, both sonically and visually," Peters added. "And with a bill as energized as this one, it's going to make for a great show all around."
