Nightmare Metal Fest To Give Military Discount

The official 2009 Nightmare Metal Fest website has been updated with the following announcement about providing a military discount:

"Nightmare Metal Fest II, announced Friday it will be honoring America’s military by giving 25% discounts to all military personnel and their families who wish to attend the 2nd annual progressive and power heavy metal festival. The festival features Internationally signed and performing bands, some of whom are signed to Nightmare Records, a label based out of St Paul, MN.

"Nightmare Records owner Lance King said, “San Antonio has a large military population with several bases in the surrounding areas. In such times of sacrifice in our nation’s history, we felt strongly about supporting our troops and giving back to them. We are delighted to offer them this discount to attend the festival.”

"Nightmare Metal Fest II will be hosting its annual event at Warehouse Music, 1303 E Houston St. in downtown on the weekend of March 20-21, 2009. The festival features such acts as: Vicious Rumors, Mindwarp Chamber, Krucible, Six Minute Century, Imagika, Seven Witches and many more. Tickets may be purchased online at www.nightmaremetalfest.com or directly at the box office."

The official Nightmare Metal Fest website has been updated with the following statement about the band line-up:

"Come join the Prog/Power Metal Revolution! Nightmare Metal Fest II, which will be held March 20-21 at the Warehouse in San Antonio, Texas, announces new bands and some changes to the line-up.

"Unfortunately Jag Panzer will not be playing at the Fest.
Futures End has had to cancel because they are in the studio finishing their debut album.

Nightmare records has issued the following update about new bands being confirmed for the 2009 Nightmare Metal Fest:

"Come join the underground Prog/Power Metal revolution! We are proud to announce these artists have now been added to the lineup, SEVEN WITCHES (featuring James Rivera [HELSTAR], Mike LePond [SYMPHONY X] and Jack Frost [SAVATAGE] and FUTURES END (featuring Steve DiGiorgio and Jon Allen of SADUS) have been confirmed for the Nightmare Metal Fest II, set to take place March 20-21 at The Warehouse in San Antonio, Texas."

Bands Confirmed For 2009 Nightmare Metal Fest

The 2009 Nightmare Metal Fest website has issued the following update about the location and the first confirmed bands:

"Come join the underground Prog/Power Metal revolution! NIGHTMARE METAL FEST II will be held this year in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st. We’re very excited to announce in its second year, Nightmare Metal Fest, will take place at THE WAREHOUSE music venue right on the River Walk in San Antonio.

We are going to have a stellar lineup and are proud to announce the first confirmations: the prolific JAG PANZER, Chicago based MINDWARP CHAMBER, KRUCIBLE(featuring members of PYRAMAZE/BALANCE OF POWER, HELSTAR, Z-LOT-Z, SIXMINUTE CENTURY) on the heals of their newly released debut album "a Manifesto for Domination" HALCYON WAY, a return performance from SACRED DAWN."
