Guest Musicians Announced For In Cold Blood Album
Rising Records has issued the following announcement about the guest musicians appearing on the upcoming In Cold Blood album:
"Guitar icon and heavy metal legend Jeff Waters from Annihilator has laid down a shredding solo for the upcoming In Cold Blood CD, 'A Flawless Escape.'
"The album will feature also Death Metal Warrior Giulio Moschini from Hour of Penance, giving a touch of evil on a song."
The album is set for release later this year through Rising Records. Additional details will be announced as they are made available.

Hour Of Penance Signs To Prosthetic Records
Prosthetic Records has issued the following announcement about inking a deal with Hour of Penance:
"Prosthetic Records is pleased to announce the signing of death metal leaders Hour of Penance to the label. Forged in the dark shadows of 'The Holy Capital,' this most unholy of quartets have steadily been making a name for themselves as one of the most intense, talented and impressive, both in the studio & live onstage, modern death metal bands around. And to hear the evidence, you just need to blast last year’s ‘Paradogma’ album on Unique Leader and you will know exactly what we mean.
"Currently writing their Prosthetic debut, Hour of Penance will again spread their plague of destruction across the clubs and festivals of Europe as part of a major tour throughout June and July with Deicide, Belphegor and The Amenta (See tour dates below)."

Hour Of Penance Issues Tour Recap
Hour of Penance has issued the following recap of the band's recent tour dates with Cephalic Carnage and Psycroptic:
"Initiation of the Misled tour is over! We would like to thank our mates in Cephalic Carnage, Psycroptic, Ion Dissonance, and Dyscarnate and all the people involved in this amazing tour. Last but not least a HUGE thanks goes to all the people who believed and supported Hour of Penance during the last couple of months.

Hour Of Penance Comments On Canceled Spanish Shows
Italy's Hour of Penance has issued the following statement regarding the band's shows in Spain being canceled:
"Just got back home, time to clarify about what happened during our show in Spain, Alicante. Here writing are Giulio, Silvano and Francesco from Hour of Penance, we've just returned home and we decided to make an announcement of what happened during what looks like to be our last tour with this line up. What follows, is just the truth, we know that on the internet there are already people talking about this or that without knowing what REALLY happened during the show we supposed to do in Alicante on May 7th.
"Here's what happened: We were about to jump on stage and play as we did on every night since the start of this tour and since we always did so far in the most professional way we could, but once on stage we figured out that our drummer Mauro was not able to perform a whole Hour of Penance set, so Francesco take the microphone and announced that we couldn't do the show because our drummer was sick. Just after his announcement the employees of the venue 'Coyote Ugly' started taking our instruments and gear because somebody did damage to the venue including breaking a flat TV 50 inches. So we started talking with them with lot of difficulty since nobody at the venue except us and the promoter were able to speak English but only Spanish until the police arrived and discovered that all those damages were done by our drummer Mauro. Italy's Hour of Penance has issued the following statement about an upcoming European tour:
"Hour of Penance will hit the European soil for almost 3 weeks in late April / May to promote the new album 'Paradogma' out on Unique Leader on March 30th U.S / 31st Rest of the world. The band will also take part in two of the most extreme European festivals including the Dutch Neurotic Deathfest and the U.K Deathfest respectively on April 30th and May 2nd."

Hour Of Penance Streaming New Song Online
Italian death metallers Hour of Penance are currently streaming a new song online from their upcoming album "Paradogma." The new song "Woeful Eucharisty," along with the previously uploaded title track, can be heard at the Hour of Penance MySpace page. "Paradogma" is set to be released world wide on March 31st, 2010.
Hour Of Penance Confirmed For Deathfest
Italian death metal quartet Hour of Penance are the latest addition to the "Deathfest - The Second Coming" festival. They'll be joined on the Terrorizer Stage by London's Infestation while doom act Ramesses and sludge group Palehorse will perform on the PHD Stage. Brujeria, Immolation, Fukpig, Dawn of Chaos, and Volition are already confirmed for the two-stage event which will be hosted at Leeds University Union, on Sunday, May 2nd.
Festival director Gavin McInally said: "Hundreds of tickets have already gone and we're delighted to be able to repay that early support by adding another four top quality extreme metal acts. As promised, Deathfest - The Second Coming, will have a stunning bill of death metal on our Terrorizer Stage with the PHD Stage offering an alternative of filthy sludge, doom and unsavoury noise. With several slots still to be filled, fans can look forward to an unrivaled day of extreme music in the UK this May!"

Italy's Hour of Penance has issued the following update about offering the title track from their upcoming album as a free MP3 download:
"We thought it was time to give you a shot of the new album and we decided to post track 1 'Paradogma.' Why we've chosen this track? Because we think that it describes best the new and darker mood behind the new album. This will obviously doesn't means that the new album will sounds just like this track. 'Paradogma' is the most varied album we did so far, each track will have his own personality still being coherent to the overall sound of the new album. We've added so many elements to our music that this track...it's just a little preview. "Hour of Penance have set 'Paradogma' as title of his fourth upcoming album to be released on March 2nd 2010 through Unique Leader Records worldwide. Cover art is being completed by Gyula Havancsàk, the artist who worked with band as Annihilator and Destruction to mention a few. 'Paradogma' has been recorded at 16th Cellar studios with producer Stefano Morabito and mastered at Hertz Studios in Poland. Tracklist and final details to be announced soon. Hour Of Penance Issues Recording Update
Hour Of Penance are currently in the processing of recording their new album for a 2010 release through Unique Leader Records. Guitarist Guilio Moschini commented on the album:
"Hour of Penance will complete tracking of their new album at 16th Cellar Studios in Rome and in the next days the band will start mixing at the same studio. Just thought it was time to give you guys an update regarding what's going on in the Hour of Penance camp. We've finally finished tracking all the instruments for the new album and we will start mixing it at the end of this week with Stefano Morabito at the mixing desk. Production-wise this album is already beyond what we have done with 'The Vile Conception,' so we're definitely satisfied with the results we're achieving so far and I'm sure you will be with me once you'll hear it! Once we have finished with the mixing we will send the new album to the Hertz Studios in Poland, where legendary bands like Behemoth, Decapitated, Vader and Hate have worked, for the mastering...easy to say that we're thrilled to work with the guys of Hertz studios, and we're sure that this will help the album to sound even better. Expect a killer Hour of Penance album to be released in 2010!"
Hour of Penance To Enter The Studio
Hour of Penance will enter "16th Cellar" studio in Rome August 27th with Stefano Morabito as sound engineer to start tracking the instruments of their fourth yet untitled new album.
Frontman and guitarist, Giulio Moschini, comments, "After less then a year of songwriting we're finally ready to hit the studio and record the new album. We're very satisfied with the results of the songwriting sessions, everything went smooth and all the songs came out in a spontaneous way. We have enough material to record almost two albums but as we did with the previous album 'The Vile conception,' only the best 10 songs will appear on the new opus. This time we will work with Stefano Morabito to get a more 'live' approach and a more natural sound to the new album which will embrace a lot of new and different features from the past releases. I'm sure our loyal fans will not be disappointed when they hear the final result!"

Italy's Hour of Penance has issued the following announcement about bringing back their original guitarist:
"After an almost three-years long hiatus, HOUR OF PENANCE welcomes back the former guitarist and founder Enrico, who apparently got tired of the cold and dark Norwegian life...

Origin Premieres “Finite” Video
ORIGIN premiered their video for "Finite," the first from their brand new album, "Antithesis," yesterday on Headbanger's Blog, the online forum for MTV's 'Headbanger's Ball' (international / non-US viewers can view the video on YouTube). The "Finite" video will see its televised premiere on today's (May 24) edition of Headbanger's Ball on MTV2.
The video was shot in Brooklyn, NY with director David Brodsky for MyGoodEye. ORIGIN is currently on tour in support of Antithesis, rounding out their U.S. run with labelmates DYING FETUS over the weekend followed by a month-long headlining tour of Europe. ORIGIN will also be performing at a number of festivals while in Europe including Hellfest, Protzen Open Air, Neurotic Death Fest, Death Feast Fest, and more.
ORIGN released "Antithesis" in early April, breaking in at #21 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Audio samples taken from "Antithesis" can be heard now via the band's official MySpace and this media player.
