Kittie Announce Halloween Bash
On Saturday October 27th, at the Bovine Sex Club, 542 Queen St. W. (at Bathurst), Toronto, ON, KITTIE and ARISE AND RUIN will be holding a Halloween Bash. There is a $10.00 cover charge at the door and no advance tickets. This is a 19+ event.
In other news, Kittie will also be traveling to South American and Mexico this November. The will be performing on these dates:

Scarlet Sins To Play All-Girl WA Powerbox Festival
Scarlet Sins is confirmed to play the first annual Powerbox Festival at the Whitehorse Amphitheatre in Darrington, Washington. The Powerbox Festival will feature the world's best female hard rock and metal acts. Other headliners on the bill include: Girlschool, McQueen, Kittie, Vixen and Doro.
Some of the proceeds of the show will go towards a breast cancer charity in the memory of former Girlschool guitarist Kelly Johnson who passed away on July 15.
The festival runs from Friday, August 31 to Monday, September 4 inclusive.
Scarlet Sins is set to play at 9pm on Saturday night.

New Live Kittie Audio and Photos Online
New live audio of KITTIE is available at the Underground Video Television website. The songs were recorded live at Northern Lights in Albany NY and are for the band's tracks "Breathe" and the title track to their latest CD "Funeral For Yesterday". Some photos taken at this show are also available online and some live videos of Kittie are forthcoming at UVTV.
KITTIE's new album, "Funeral for Yesterday," which was released via KITTIE's record label, X of Infamy, sold just under 9,000 copies in its first week of release to debut at position No. 101 on The Billboard 200 chart.
KITTIE's new CD was recorded at Retromedia Studio in Red Bank, New Jersey with producer Jack Ponti, who has previously worked with BON JOVI, SKID ROW, and ALICE COOPER. The band mixed the effort with producer Kevin Shirley (IRON MAIDEN, DREAM THEATER).

Kittie Charts With "Funeral For Yesterday"
London, Ontario based female rockers, KITTIE, released FUNERAL FOR YESTERDAY on their own X OF INFAMY RECORDS on 2/20/07 to great fan and critic reaction. The album roared into the Billboard Top 200 at #101 as the 8th highest debut of the week (7th highest on the Indie Charts). Most impressive was the record's debut at #20 on the iTunes Pop Albums chart this week.
The band's single and title track, "Funeral For Yesterday," has gained a foothold at rock radio with stations like WRIF in Detroit, MI and WKLQ in Grand Rapids, MI getting its start with nearly 2 million in audience. The video for the single will be released soon and already has numerous early add commitments. KITTIE has mounted a headline tour and taken out friends Walls Of Jericho and 36 Crazyfists to support them. The successful US run will continue through the end of March 2007. The band plans to tour behind FUNERAL FOR YESTERDAY throughout the year, to reach fans everywhere.
Kittie Cancel Allentown Show Due To Weather
KITTIE regret to announce that their show scheduled for tonight with Walls of Jericho and 36 Crazyfists at Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA has been cancelled due to the severe weather in the Northeast USA. The snow and ice has caused immeasurable problems in transportation that is preventing the band from getting to the area. The ladies send their apologies to Allentown fans and will attempt to get back to the area as soon as possible.
A definitive statement will be issued tomorrow concerning their ability to get to their 2/15 Jacksonville, NC show.

Canadian metal band KITTIE has issued the following update:
"We regret to inform all of you hoping to attend the [February 11] Asbury Park, New Jersey show at the Fastlane that the show has been cancelled. We were advised by the promoter to cancel the show after an increase in gang violence and a recent drive-by shooting in the area. We apologize for the inconvienence but our safety as well as your own is in all of our best interests! We'd hope that any of you wanting to attend that show would head to B.B. King's in [New York City] on February 12th, or The Crocodile Rock on Valentine's Day!"
