Ingested Releases New Standalone Single
UK death metal stalwarts Ingested today drop their new stand-alone single, "Nefarious Tongues." You can check out the video below.
Lyrically, the punishing track explores the decay of morality in a world consumed by vanity and self-interest. It reflects on the way society devours itself through ego and exploitation, as if we’re willingly feeding the very forces that will destroy us. Musically, it blends modern death metal riffing with hardcore-infused grooves, delivered at a measured mid-tempo that lets the riffs and drums breathe while giving space for the vocals to cut through with full impact. The structure stays tight and purposeful, building toward pointed, heavy-hitting moments that hit with absolute finality. More...
