The Russian death dealers from Slaughter To Prevail spent the holidays plotting to take over the world. Now, the band is excited to announce a first hate-filled assault of the New Year – the European Extinction tour.
Slaughter To Prevail will join forces with the mighty Ingested and German slam crushers Acranius. In addition to several European cities, the tour will be hitting Neurotic Deathfest and Doom Rotten Deathfest.
Slaughter To Prevail is currently putting the final touches on a new EP, which will be released early this year. The EP is as destructive as a sledgehammer to the back of the head, as witnessed on the EP’s first single “Crowned and Conquered” (featuring Lucas Mann of Rings of Saturn).

Ingested just posted a lyric video for new song "The Divine Right Of Kings," which is taken from the death metal quintet's forthcoming album "The Architect Of Extinction." The album was mixed by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy).
Explains Jason Evans (vocals): "'The Divine Right Of Kings' is the first track of 'The Architect Of Extinction,' and it picks up the pace directly from where 'Revered By No One, Feared By All' ended. This is hateful narcissism of the highest order, drowning in crushing slams and machine gun blastbeats. The lyric video was made by Craig Gowans (Bleed From Within) and he’s done an incredible job. This is the perfect introduction to our new album, and we hope you have as much fun listening to it as we did creating it!"
"The Architect Of Extinction" is due to be released on January 12th, 2015 via Century Media Records.
2015 will see Ingested return with "The Architect of Extinction,” mixed by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) and featuring artwork from Toshihiro Egawa. The album will be released January 12th on Century Media Records in Europe.
Jason Evans (vocals) comments: "It took us three albums and two EP's to find our sound, our identity as a band. This album is Ingested in it's purest form; nihilistic, slamming death metal. Every lyric, guitar riff and drum beat on this album is delivered with utter sincerity, we fucking mean it this time. This is the album we have always wanted to create, this is The Architect Of Extinction.
"Once again we enlisted the amazing art talents of Toshihiro Egawa, who we worked with on our debut album 'Surpassing the Boundaries of Human Suffering' to produce yet another stunning, brutal masterpiece to compliment the audio assault we've captured on disc. This album was mixed by Christian Donaldson (Beneath the Massacre, The Last Felony and Cryptopsy) and features guest appearances by Julian Kersey (Aegaeon), Taylor Wientjes (The Kennedy Veil), James Schuster (Eighty Thousand Dead / Delusional Parasitosis) and Alex Terible (Slaughter To Prevail ) who have contributed their very own brand of brutality to this record. This is our most definitive work to date and we can't wait to unleash it on the world.”
The track listing is:
1. The Divine Right Of Kings
2. Narcissistic Apathy
3. Endless Despondency
4. The Heirs To Mankind's Atrocities
5. I, Despoiler

UK death metal/metalcore band VIATROPHY has posted the following message:
"It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Viatrophy are splitting up. Gurneet has decided he no longer wants to continue with the band and wants to concentrate on a degree and different career path. As he and I were the main writing force, we unfortunately cannot physically go on any longer as a band. The tour dates on our page will be our FINAL tour. Merch will be ridiculously cheap and I will quite possibly cry. Book tickets early! The rest of us are as bummed as you. Thank you for all the good times. Thank you to everyone who came to a show, partied with us, gave us a place to crash, bought some shirts or a CD. To those who downloaded it, well… that doesn’t matter any more does it... Thanks I guess." More...
Lyn Jeffs, drummer of UK based death metal act ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY, has issued the following statement:
"I've decided to leave ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY to concentrate on my other band INGESTED. I feel that they deserve a drummer who is 100% commited to what the band is doing. I've had a great time on tour with A.O.A.A. and a great time meeting all the fans who have supported me and the band over the past year. I wish the band luck in the future and hope to share a stage again one day. For now, I will be playing the remaining tours we have booked till the end of the year, so I'm looking forward to meeting all you fuckers on the road again!"
ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY will release their new album “The Reign Of Darkness” via Nuclear Blast Records worldwide (excluding the UK) in early 2010.
British extreme metal outfit Akercocke has announced that they will be performing a special one-off show in London next month. A message from the band reads as follows:
"Akercocke are pleased to announce that they will be playing in London after a very long break from hometown shows, Ak will be appearing at the Underworld on Friday, October 16th with support from Ingested, Hades Lab, Hideous Creation and Diminished Fifth. The band have been writing and rehearsing new material some of which may be aired at the show along with the usual holocaust of blast violence which we've been itching to play live so this will be a killer show, get down there early, get on the beers and get ready to bang your head for Satan."

We are to be joined in this merciless campaign by our bearded brethren in 3 Inches Of Blood, personal favorites Necrophobic, Carnifex, Obscura, The Faceless and one of the UK's finest, Ingested.
