Chimaira Announce Split With Ex-Soilwork Drummer
Chimaira have parted ways with drummer Ricky Evensand and have replaced him with Kevin Talley. There are many reasons for the split most of which have to do with visa issues. Chimaira kick off the Road Rage tour tomorrow night in their home town Cleveland and are excited to have Kevin behind the kit.
New 4Q Radio Show, Seek Opening European Act
4Q Radio have thrown up a brand new show. The station, which will be on tour following Out for Blood later this Summer, is working with Coventry's Devilgrind Promotions in the hunt for a European act to open up for Century Media's Stampin' Ground at the Jailhouse on July 27th.

Soilwork, Evergrey, Misteltein, The Forsaken, Debase and Totalt Jävla Mörker have been confirmed for Malmöfestivalen in Sweden, a one-week festival from August 13 to 20. All the above-mentioned acts will perform on Monday, August 16. The schedule is as follows:

Anthrax Officially Part With Bassist, Frank Bello
ANTHRAX manager Tim Dralle has confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET that bassist Frank Bello is no longer a member of ANTHRAX. The group's official statement on the matter is as follows: "Due to internal reasons, Joey Vera (ARMORED SAINT, FATES WARNING) will be temporarily handling bass playing duties for ANTHRAX on their upcoming tours of Japan and Australia." Soilwork Tap Scarve Drummer For Euro Tour
Sweden's SOILWORK have announced that recently departed drummer Richard Evensand (now with Chimaira) has been temporarily replaced him with Dirk Verbeuren from SCARVE, who will be filling in as a session drummer for Soilwork's upcoming headlining tour in Europe.
Here's a quote from their website:
"Richard is an amazing drummer and we are very happy that we have had the privilege to play with him for the period of time that we did. Richard and SOILWORK have decided not to continue playing together and we have parted as good friends. We wish him all the best of luck with his future projects."

According to reports, drummer Andols Herrick has announced that he will be leaving the band and it seems he will be replaced by Soilwork's drummer, Ricky.
