TDEBN Working On Songs For Fourth Album

Australian goregrind veterans The Day Everything Became Nothing are currently working on their fourth album. The band already has three songs completed and has issued the following statement:

"Thanks to everyone who has been downloading the free TDEBN album each week for the last month, we've had a great response! We hope you all enjoyed that and hopefully thats enough to keep you goregrinders happy while we continue working and writing for the new album due for release later this year! whoa yeah! We've got 3 new songs done and we'll be back cranking out some new tunes next week."

The Day Everything Became Nothing Drops Off MDF X

The Day Everything Became Nothing was forced to cancel their appearance at Maryland Deathfest X, as one of the members has a commitment that he can't get out of around that time. The band tried but was unable to find a fill in for the upcoming U.S. shows.

Morbid Saint has been announced as the replacement for The Day Everything Became Nothing, and has been added to the Saturday show of Maryland Deathfest X.

Maryland Deathfest 2012 Final Bands Confirmed

The tenth annual Maryland Deathfest is set to take place in Baltimore, Maryland on May 24-27, 2012 and the final 12 bands were recently announced. They are:

Maryland Deathfest Expands To Three Days

Next year's installment of the annual Maryland Deathfest will take place May 23-25, 2008 at the Sonar in Baltimore, Maryland.

Commented the festival organizers: "You can expect the first day of Maryland Deathfest (Friday, August 23) to begin around 6 p.m. and finish around midnight. The Saturday and Sunday of the fest can expect to start at the same time as previous years in the early afternoon. We expect to confirm approximately 36 bands in total for Maryland Deathfest VI that will span the three days, and once all bands have been announced tickets will go on sale. You will be able to purchase tickets by individual day, three-day pass, and Saturday/Sunday only."

First Ever Abducted Metal Fest Details Announced

The first ever Abducted Metal and Horror Festival has been announced, and will be held at the Arena in Brisbane on the 21st of July, with doors opening at 5pm. Twenty bands, including some of the best coming out of Australia right now, will play across three stages, and the festival will also feature horror cinema, gothic dance and the launch of the new DVDzine 'Up-Skirt'. Last Ever Metal For The Brain Tour Info Announced

Metal For The Brain is an Australian benefit concert for the National Brain Injury Foundation and victim of brain injury, Alec Hurley. It spans three stages, 13 hours, more than 40 Aussie metal bands, and tickets are available from Ticketek for 60 Dollars, all ages. Over 18's must bring their ID to access the bar area and drink. Alcohol will not be permitted to be brought into the venue.

This year's Metal For The Brain Tour tentative line-up and set times have been officially announced. The tour has also launched a full website with more information at this location and an official forum, which was just recently launched itself. The announcement also divulged that this is to be the last ever Metal For The Brain tour, so get ready for this show to go out with an Earth-shattering 'bang'. The tour is scheduled for November 4th, at the University of Canberra Refectory.
