Cannibal Corpse Announces Co-Headlining Tour

Just back home from a 5-week European tour in support of new album "Torture" (reviewed here), and on the jump again for another five weeks of touring through North America, Cannibal Corpse has now confirmed a return to Europe for February 2013.

Cannibal Corpse will be co-headlining alongside Devildriver, with Cannibal Corpse finishing all mainland European shows while Devildriver will finish the U.K. dates. Support acts will be announced shortly.

Devildriver Signs To Napalm Records

The entire Napalm Records crew is honored to announce that American groove-metal powerhouse Devildriver has joined their ranks.

The legendary Los Angeles metal outfit has signed a worldwide record deal with the Austrian label. A new Devildriver album is tentatively scheduled for a release in 2013.

Frontman Dez Fafara comments: "I am proud to announce DevilDriver’s new partnership with Napalm Records! They have the passion and the drive we as a band were looking for! I'm looking forward to working together on DevilDriver's next release! Hail the groove!"

Darkest Hour Announces Australian Shows

D.C. metal titans Darkest Hour have announced Australian support dates with DevilDriver this spring in continuing support for their latest release, "The Human Romance." The band will make stops in both Japan and the Philippines as well. Guitarist Mike Schleibaum adds his own words:

"This trip will include our first ever headlining dates in Japan as well as our return to Manilla and Australia. We couldn't be more excited to travel over to this part of the world again and introduce them to our new record and live show. We love to experience new culture, meet new friends, and of course play some killer shows. We'll be accompanied by our good friends so you know it will be a party as soon as we load in!"

The band released the latest record "The Human Romance" earlier this year with singles like "Love As A Weapon" and "The World Engulfed In Flames," and a music video for "Savor The Kill." An instrumental version even made its way onto iTunes, which can be found here. More...

Devildriver Bassist Hospitalized With Pneumonia

DevilDriver bassist Aaron "Bubble" Patrick has been hospitalized with pneumonia which will force him to miss the kickoff of the band's Metal Alliance U.S. Tour with Devildriver, The Faceless, Job for a Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood, Impending Doom and Wretched. Chris Towning, who played with Patrick in Bury Your Dead, will fill in for him.

Quartered Announces New Tour Dates

Limp Bizkit To Headline Graspop 2012

American nu metal veterans Limp Bizkit have been confirmed as the final headliner for this year's edition of Belgiums largest heavy metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting. Also newly confirmed for the festival are Behemoth, Black Label Society, Godsmack, Slash and All Shall Perish, while the organisers have also announced that Young Guns and Lagwagon have pulled out of the event. Guns N Roses Confirmed For Graspop 2012

The organisers of Belgium's largest heavy metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, have announced that American rock legends Guns N Roses will be wrapping the festival up this year, as they will be headlining the event on Sunday 24th. The organisers have also announced that As I Lay Dying has had to pull out of the festival after cancelling their European tour, but also confirmed that Cannibal Corpse, Machine Head, Gotthard, Adrenaline Mob, Sebastian Bach, Black Veil Brides and The Treatment will perform at the festival. Devildriver Frontman To Guest On New Soulfly Album

In a recent post on the social networking website Twitter, Devildriver frontman Dez Fafara revealed that he will be appearing as a special guest on Soulfly's as-yet untitled eighth studio album. Fafara's Twitter post reads as follows:

"I just co-wrote and sang with Max Cavalera on the heaviest track I've heard from Soulfly, ever. RESPECT."

The new Soulfly album will be the first to feature new drummer David Kinkade, formerly of Borknager. The record is being produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris and is expected to be released next year through Roadrunner Records.
