Antigama Re-Signs With Selfmadegod
Warsaw, Poland’s revolutionary grind/metal assassins Antigama are announcing their return to Selfmadegod Records.
Following two full-length releases via Relapse Records over recent years, Antigama has re-signed with longtime friends at Selfmadegod and is currently locked away in Warsaw’s Progresja Studio with sound engineer Pawel “Janos” Grabowski.
The band is in the process of recording several brand new tracks for two different upcoming releases — a 3-way split with Noisear (USA, Relapse) and The Kill (Australia), as well as a MCD tentatively entitled "Stop The Chaos." The session started on February 1st 2012, and final mixes and mastering duties will be completed by none other than the band’s long time friend and famous Polish music producer Szymon Czech (Nyia, Third Degree). Antigama Issues Band Update
Antigama has checked in with the following update about the band's upcoming activity:
"Hello there. Some news from our camp. After long silence due to making new material, completing the line up and doing other non musical things the band entered the studio in January to record the new material. The songs were recorded in Progresja Studio with Pawel Grabowski and mixed and produced by Szymon Czech. The new stuff will be released soon on the split CD with Italian grinders Psychofagist. The preview of the new music will soon be available on band's official web pages. Apart from the tracks recorded for the split CD Antigama have almost completed rehearsing for the upcoming full length record. The new yet untitled album will be recorded and produced by Szymon Czech in spring 2011. It seems to be the most diverse recording from the band so far.
"For this year's Antigama's 10th anniversary the band plan a special gig with invited guests in Progresja club at the end of 2011 and a special CD compilation on their 10-year music journey with previously unreleased material, live trax, remixes and covers. Antigama also plan to play gigs in Poland and abroad. In the nearest future the vocalist Lukasz Myszkowski will take part in this year's Gebofon, a festival of vocal arts devoted to the phenomenon of human voice. His workshops and special live show accompanied by bands guitar man Sebastian Rokicki will take place in in Filharmonia Lodzka in Lodz in February."

Zwolinski:
"Hello! First of all, big apologies for the long silence from the Antigama's camp. Finally, the right time has come to share some cool news with you all. After very successful '1944' shows in the Warsaw Rising Museum in August 2009 we parted our ways with our singer Patryk. We want to thank Patryk for everything he's done for us since the start of our work with him and wish him only the best in the his other music projects. At the moment Antigama is busy making new songs for the upcoming new album and a couple of split releases destined for the release in 2010. On the new recordings you'll hear... Lucas, our original singer. We're more than happy that Lucas will help Antigama again and make vocals for the new album. We're very excited about it all. More news about the recordings and some brand new songs will appear soon at our website... At the moment you can check out the song 'Not True' from our album 'Warning.' Guitarist Topon comments to the tour: "Fucking Europe, eh? Who ever thought it would have actually happened? Well we did, but I guess we never expected it to take so long. It's been almost 10 years since I released the first Fuck The Facts cassette, and 7 years since the band started playing shows. Some of the first people that ever supported Fuck The Facts by releasing split tapes and putting FTF on comps were from Italy, France & Germany. It's crazy that after all these years I might get to finally meet some of these people and lots of you that have written us over the years…….." "It's definitely gonna be a different experience, and we will do our best to make sure we can "Disgorge" Europe with the same viciousness that we have North America. See you all soon." More...

Antigama And Drugs Of Faith Team For Split CD
Antigama from Warsaw, Poland and Drugs Of Faith from Virginia, USA team up for a split disc inspired by the Napalm Death / Coalesce split, In Tongues We Speak. Following in the footsteps of that bi-national split of grindcore and hardcore, Selfmadegod Records from Poland is poised to release the Antigama / Drugs Of Faith split 3"CD on an eager world audience.
The three songs representing Antigama's share of the CD are the last ones that the band is issuing before the awaited Relapse debut full-length, Resonance, which, as Relapse describes on its website, is "certain to drive the listener to frenzied extremes never before experienced." Antigama turns in two original songs packed full of its trademark sound and a cover of a classic Goblin song.
As for Drugs Of Faith, this power-trio delivers three new tracks that offer a taste of what the future full-length on Selfmadegod is shaping up to resemble. The band has new surprises up its sleeve, having churned out spanking new material for this team up with Antigama that takes its sound further down the road hinted at with the self-titled mini-album, both musically and lyrically.
Not content to have two bands from the same obvious genres or sharing the same influences go head to head on a split, as often happens, Antigama and Drugs Of Faith's individual sounds play against each other, resulting in a jolt for the listener as the tracks alternate between the two bands on Selfmadegod's latest release. With Antigama awaiting the arrival of its Relapse full-length and Drugs Of Faith supporting the LP version of its mini-album (which features two bonus tracks), the split 3"CD should be a must for fans of either or both groups.
An old hand at steering grindcore in the studio, Szymon Czech (Nyia, Third Degree, Antigama), has mastered this double-barrel disc due on March 26 2007.
The track listing for the Split CD is as follows:
1. Antigama - Herd
2. Drugs Of Faith - Churchianity
3. Antigama - Gift
4. Drugs Of Faith - Memoranda
5. Antigama - Zombi
6. Drugs Of Faith - Phantom
Antigama Complete Work on New Album
Poland's ANTIGAMA has recently completed work on their Relapse debut album, Resonance.
Resonance was recorded in December at Studio X in Olsztyn, Poland by engineer Szymon Czech. The 18 song effort is set for a May 2007 release. Advance song titles for Resonance include: “Seismic Report”, “Ecstasy”, “Pursuit”, “Neutral Balance”, “Order”, “Pending”, “Remembering Nothing”, “By And By”, “Shymrok”, and “Stars”.
“It's certainly the best sounding and most mature album of Antigama” says guitarist Sebastian Rokicki, “In short it's the most brutal, wild, astonishing, uncommon and experimental piece of music we've ever made.”
ANTIGAMA vocalist Lukasz Myszkowski adds: “It was the first time we had so much time for the recording session. We freed ourselves of the inhibitions and discharged all of the animal emotions and toxic waste. Resonance is coming!”
Antigama Working Hard On New Album
Poland's ANTIGAMA has recently begun work on their Relapse debut album.
"We have already written 14 songs and certainly it's going be the most diverse, brutal and twisted material of Antigama. We can't wait untill the recording session!" says ANTIGAMA guitarist Sebastian Rokicki (the band is rounded out by Lukasz Myszkowski (Vocals), Michal Pietrasik (Bass) and Krzysztof Bentkowski (Drums)).
Additionally, the Warsaw-based, progressive grindcore quartet is working on two new songs for an upcoming split 3” CD with DRUGS OF FAITH. The split will be released on Selfmadegod Records, who recently reissued the band’s debut album Intellect Made Us Blind.
