Fury of Five Return After 23 Years Hiatus
New Jersey hardcore band Fury of Five are back on the scene after a break of 23 years. Today they premiere a new song and music video by the name of “Feel the Reign”, taken from their forthcoming EP, "Half Past Revenge", due out on March 3rd, 2023 via Upstate Records.
Fury of Five were originally formed in 1994 and previously released three albums, "No Reason to Smile", "At War With The World", and "This Time It’s Personal". They called it quits in 1998, and are excited to pick up where they left off with their new effort, which they recorded at Landmine Studios with engineer/producer Len Carmichael.
Second To None Plan Reunion/Benefit Show
New Jersey hardcore band Second To None will play a reunion/benefit show on March 30th at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, New Jersey. All proceeds from the show will go to the family of five year-old Mya Lin Terry, who is battling cancer. Terry is the daughter of former Fury Of Five member, Mike Terror. Doors open at 5pm and admission $15. Shattered Realm, NJ Bloodline, and A Day Of Pigs are also slated to perform.
One Man Army Breaks Up
One Man Army, a relatively new band featuring former Fury Of Five frontman James Ismean, have called it quits. According to Ismean, "Three members have left the band. I apologize to all the fans and clubs. This was unexpected. I do have a new band in the works. The devil can't hold me down. I wish I could give an answer to why this happened. But there isn't one. Please don't hold this against me, but I will be back."
