Intronaut To Tour With Animals As Leaders
California progressive metal act Intronaut has revealed a portion of the dates for its forthcoming tour of the United States with Animals As Leaders. Support on the trek will come from Dead Letter Circus, Last Chance To Reason and a solo set from The Faceless bassist Evan Brewer. New Doom Metal Band, Bewilderbiest, Formed
A new doom band, Bewilderbiest, has been formed by various members of other well known metal bands. Bewilderbiest is made up of Sacha Dunable on guitar (Intronaut, Graviton), Derek Donley on drums (National Sunday Law, Graviton), Charles Elliott on vocals and guitar (Abysmal Dawn) and Derek Rydquist on bass (The Faceless). No music has been posted yet, but you can follow the band on Facebook for updates.

Intronaut Posts "Sunderance" Video
Intronaut has teamed with MetalSucks.net to premiere the music video for the song "Sunderance." The video is available for viewing at this location.
The clip was produced by Daniel Hague (Skeletonwitch), who also worked with the band on the "Inside the Valley of Smoke" documentary. Intronaut is also currently plotting to hit the road later this year. Details on upcoming dates will be announced as they are made available.
Intronaut To Appear On Upcoming "Metalliance Tour"
UPDATE: This information was gleaned from listings on Ticketmaster.ca, which appear to be erroneous on several points, including specific tour dates. Furthermore, Intronaut has not confirmed participation in this tour and all listings on Ticketmaster.ca have since been removed, save one.
Los Angeles progressive post-metallers Intronaut have revealed that they will be appearing on select dates for the forthcoming "Metalliance Tour." The "Metalliance Tour" features headliners Helmet alongside Saint Vitus and Crowbar. Other special guests scheduled to appear include Kylesa, Howl, The Atlas Moth, Naam, and Royal Thunder. Murder Construct Posts New Song Online
California metal band MURDER CONSTRUCT has posted a new track, “End Of An Error,” online via SickDrummerMagazine.com. The track is posted along with live video of the band performing “End Of An Error” during their west coast dates with VENOMOUS CONCEPT in September. “End Of An Error” comes from the band’s forthcoming debut EP that will see its release on November 23rd on CD, LP and digitally.
MURDER CONSTRUCT have recently confirmed a record release show in support of their EP for Saturday, November 27th at 3 Clubs (1123 N. Vine St) in Hollywood.
MURDER CONSTRUCT features Travis Ryan (CATTLE DECAPITATION) on vocals, Leon del Muerte (EXHUMED, PHOBIA, IMPALED) on guitar and vocals, Kevin Fetus (FETUS EATERS, WATCH ME BURN) on guitar, Danny Walker (INTRONAUT, EXHUMED, UPHILL BATTLE) on drums, and Caleb Schneider (BAD ACID TRIP) on bass.

Southern California progressive metallers Intronaut have debuted a brand new song titled "Elegy" at this location. "Elegy" comes off of the band's upcoming studio album titled "Valley Of Smoke" which is due for release in the fall through Century Media Records.
New Intronaut Album To Feature Member Of Tool
California progressive metallers Intronaut have announced details regarding the band's upcoming second studio album. The album's title has been set as "Valley Of Smoke" and features a guest appearance from Tool bassist Justin Chancellor. "Valley Of Smoke" was produced by Josh Newell, who also produced Intronaut's debut album "Prehistoricisms."
"Valley Of Smoke" is planned to be released sometime in the fall through Century Media Records.
Cynic Announces U.S. Tour Dates
Progressive metal veterans Cynic has announced that they will be trekking across the United States this summer on what is being dubbed the "Hall Of Fame" tour. During the tour, the band will be performing the legendary album, "Focus" from start to finish, along with songs from the rest of their acclaimed back catalogue. Intronaut Signs w/ Eyesofsound In Europe
Eyesofsound has announced the addition of Southern California's INTRONAUT to the label. The deal, in conjunction with Century Media Records, will commence with the official European release of the band's highly acclaimed second full length album "Prehistoricisms," officially only available until now in North America.
Sacha Dunable (vocals/guitars) comments: "We're happy to see that after so much going back and forth, Prehistoricisms will finally be released overseas, and couldn't be more glad that it will be through a great label like Eyesofsound."
Having just completed a nationwide tour of the United States with MASTODON and KYLESA, INTRONAUT is gearing up to hit Europe in late 2009.
