Eldritch Parts Ways With Guitarist

Italian metallers Eldritch have issued the following statement about parting ways with their guitarist Rob Pek Proietti:

"Hi folks, what's going on??? It's time for us to inform you about what's happening in Eldritch: Rob Pek Proietti played his last show on the last October 4th. Sunday 11th in Rome it was Rudj Ginanneschi's debut gig!!! After this show, the band is taking a break from live performances and is concentrating their energy on songwriting. In the meantime we wish Pek all the best for the future and wish the same luck that Pek had in the band to Rudj. Eldritch is a big family and we'll never forget anybody's contribution to the band's career. Ok, keep your eyes wide open on the next bulletins!! Cheers."

Eldritch Mixing and Editing New DVD

This message has been posted on ELDRITCH's official website:

"Hi folks. The band is working on the editing and sound mixing of the DVD and double live CD. Soon they'll start writing new songs (something is already on the coal). What else??? It's getting pretty warm here in Italy and this marvellous sightseeing of the sea will surely give the guys some kind of 'Bay Area' inspiration for songwriting! Moreover PEK has been staying in Davis (60 miles from San Francisco and the Bay Area) up to the end of August and he is composing too!! Ok, further info will come in the next bulletins. Keep it up, Metal cheers."

Eldritch Won't Play Italian Gods Of Metal Fest

Italian metallers ELDRITCH have issued the following update:

"We feel bad to announce that Eldritch won't perform at the Italian Gods of Metal fest in Milan, on March 1st. It wasn't in the intentions of the band, because a Gods Of Metal fest (Italian or international) is always an important event that the band would never renounce to."

"A couple of months ago, when LiveInItaly contacted the band, they didn't know the exact position on the bill, so Eldritch approved. Only a few days later they've been told that they've been called as a replacement for LABYRINTH, and with a big surprise, to play at 13:30 in the first afternoon!"

"The band sent a few emails to LiveInItaly asking for the reasons, but have never recieved any answer. The band never expected to play as headliners, but not even in the early position they've been billed for!!" More...
