Romania’s speed metal anomaly Ruyned has only been around since 2023, but in that short time they’ve put out a couple of demos and an album. They appear to be relatively young gentlemen, and sure, while classic strands of metal have been and continue to be rehashed throughout the years, it’s exactly that: rehashed. Ruyned doesn’t seem to be reinventing the wheel, but their take on black and thrash informed speed metal is undeniably captivating.
