Everdawn Releases "Another Lifetime" Video
New Jersey’s symphonic metal band Everdawn has unveiled their new single and the accompanying music video "Another Lifetime," out today via Frontiers Music Srl. You can check it out below.
The band commented about the track:
"Many of us feel the constant fear that we are straying from our path, or that the journey set before us is not the one we're meant for. We may feel afraid we are not strong enough to face the battles ahead or we feel anxious that we are veering away from the life we want. This song is about fighting inner demons, challenging our insecurities or preconceived notions and rising above. Trust nothing but yourself to achieve what you want in life, following your own footsteps. Realize: you are exactly where you are meant to be and who you are meant to become." More...
Everdawn Reveals New Album "Venera" Details
New Jersey symphonic metal outfit Everdawn have signed to Frontiers and will release a new album entitled "Venera" on 8th December. A first single and lyric video from it for the song "Cassiopeia" is now available.
"It's fascinating to think about the fine line between confidence and arrogance and who it is that gets to decide when we veer too far towards the latter," state the band. "How much of ourselves are we allowed to put on a pedestal? Most of us try to find a balance between self-respect and pride, and this song is all about using the myth of Queen Cassiopeia as an allegory for exploring the relationship between the two. How far do we go when it comes to the belief in our own power before the world tries to take it away, and how far before we lose everything and everyone dear to us for the sake of our pride? Like Queen Cassiopeia, we must learn from her and reflect upon whether we are willing to reap the consequences of our hubris - and also watch as others suffer by the same hand."
Everdawn was originally formed in 2014 as Midnight Eternal with Boris Zaks (drums), Richard Fischer (guitars), Dan Prestup (drums) and Mike LePond (bass) among its founder members. They released a self-titled debut album two years later and promoted it on tours of North America with Queensryche and Europe with Therion. They subsequently brought Russia-born Canadian singer Alina Gavrilenko into the line-up, who brought a full-blown energetic vocal approach into their new material. Signalling a fresh beginning, they changed their name to Everdawn. More...

Everdawn Posts New Lyric Video Online
Next week, Sensory Records will unveil Cleopatra, the epic Dan Swanö-mastered second album from New Jersey-based symphonic metal quintet, Everdawn. With the record nearing release, a new lyric video for the song "Your Majesty Sadness," which features guest contributions from Therion/Candlemass vocalist Thomas Vikström, can be seen below.
Formerly known as Midnight Eternal, Everdawn is embodied by lead vocalist Alina Gavrilenko, guitarist/vocalist Richard Fischer, bassist Mike LePond (Symphony X), drummer Dan Prestup, and keyboardist Boris Zaks. Through the course of eleven epic new songs, the band delivers forty-eight minutes of epic, progressive, symphonic metal on "Cleopatra."
Everdawn keyboardist Boris Zaks delves into the "Your Majesty Sadness" single, "Oftentimes, we find ourselves walking an eternal path between sheer joy and deep sadness, utter acceptance and cold seclusion, affectionate love and brutal loneliness. It’s not always up to us whether we shift towards helpless self-destruction or find ways to embrace who we are and turn our weaknesses into strengths. ‘Your Majesty Sadness’ reflects on the inner strength of a soul searching for answers, losing motivation and finding strength to carry on despite the emotional setbacks. In addition to the phenomenal vocals of Thomas Vikstrom, the song tells the story of fading love, intimacy and attachment looking forward to times when romance and chivalry rule the world again."
