Heavenwood Splits With Guitarist
Portuguese dark metallers Heavenwood have parted ways with longtime guitarist Bruno Silva and have replaced him with Vítor Carvalho, Demon Dagger’s axeman and guitar-virtuoso. Vítor Carvalho will make his live debut with Heavenwood next Saturday, the 20th of April in Benavente.
Heavenwood is currently writing and rehearsing material for fifth album, "The Tarot Of The Bohemians - Part. 1," to be released at the beginning of 2014. In related news, the band is streaming a new pre-production track called "Strength." Check it out below. Heavenwood also comments:

Heavenwood Posts Pre-Production Demo Track
Portuguese metal act Heavenwood posted a pre-production demo clip of the new track "Strength." The song is to appear on the band's forthcoming LP "The Tarot of the Bohemians - Part I," the follow up to the 2011 Listenable Records release "Abyss Masterpiece." The band is currently finishing the writing process for the album.
"The Tarot of the Bohemians - Part I" is inspired by Papus aka Gerard Encausse (July 13, 1865 - October 25, 1916), the Spanish-born French physician and hypnotist who popularized occultism and founded the modern Martinist Order. No release date or full track information has been announced, however, in addition to "The Hermit" the band revealed "Justice" as another track name.

Heavenwood Posts Demo Clip Of "The Hermit"
Portuguese metal act Heavenwood posted a preview clip of the demo for the new track entitled "The Hermit" (heard below) The band has been in the writing process for the band's forthcoming LP "The Tarot of the Bohemians - Part I," the follow up to the 2011 Listenable Records release "Abyss Masterpiece."

Portugal's Heavenwood recently held a 20th anniversary celebration show on December 28th, 2012. Several fan-filmed video clips from the event have made their way online, showing the band performing tracks from across its discography.

Heavenwood Announces 20th Anniversary Show
Portugal's Heavenwood has issued the following announcement about performing a special 20th anniversary show:
"Heavenwood is celebrating 20 years of existence in the Fall of 2012 with a very special concert dedicated to the four albums released live at Hard Club (Mercado Ferreira Borges - Porto - Portugal) next December 28th. One night dedicated to the four albums and a unique show to all the old and new Heavenwood fans, you can´t miss this one!!"
Heavenwood Posts Edit Of Early Song
In celebration of the band's 20th anniversary, Portuguese act Heavenwood recently entered the studio (check out footage here) to record material.
The band has also now posted a rare earlier track online: a gothic club remix of the song "Shadowflower," which comes off Heavenwood's 1998 release "Swallow." Check out the song in the player below.

Portugal's Heavenwood is celebrating 20 years of existence and recently entered Unkle Rock Studio for a special recording session to commemorate the anniversary. Heavenwood Enters The Studio
Portugal's Heavenwood, which had equipment destroyed in a studio fire at the beginning of the summer, has now issued the following announcement about again hitting the recording studio:

Marcelo Aires (Heavenwood's session drummer) is recording and harvesting the best from his new endorsed drumkit from DDRUM. Heavenwood Posts New Music Video
Portuguese gothic metal band Heavenwood posted up a new music video for the track "Morning Glory Clouds (In Manus Tuas Domine)." The song appears on the band's latest LP "Abyss Masterpiece," which was issued in 2011 via Listenable Records. The video was directed by M. Webber and J. S. Watson.

Heavenwood Equipment Destroyed In Studio Fire
Portugal's Heavenwood has issued the following announcement about halting work on the band's new album due to a studio fire:
"Last night was a tragic night for Bruno Silva - the studio was consumed totally by the fire. Bruno went to the hospital regarding minor skin burns but everything is fine with him for the moment, although he's still affected psychologically due to this tremendous tragedy!
"It's a real sad news but the most important of all at the end is Bruno is alive once he was on the studio when the fire started. All the studio equipment was destroyed by the fire including Heavenwood equipment.
"Heavenwood will stop the pre-production and composition sessions of the 5th Album for a period of time but the band intend to play live and support Bruno Silva to conceive and develop his studio back from the beginning!" More...

Portuguese act Heavenwood has issued the following announcement about streaming a new sample clip online from the band's upcoming new album:
