Trigger Point has premiered a new video for “Cabin Song," which can be seen in the YouTube player below.
The song appears on Trigger Point’s new album, “Giving up the Ghost," produced by Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones) and set for a March 25th, 2014 release date through THC Music/InGrooves.
“This song is about my personal struggles with insomnia in the past, which can be maddening. So for the video we really tried to make the viewer feel that sense of discomfort and irritability that comes when you are tossing and turning all night. It’s mixed with sleepwalking and dream sequences and performance footage," says Trigger Point frontman Taylor Wallace. “All three of us live in different cities so we actually filmed our parts separately, which I think brings on the feeling of isolation. We hope that the viewer feels disoriented and a little on edge after watching it.”
Trigger Point's debut LP “A Silent Protest” was produced by ex-Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader (Five Finger Death Punch) and released on Corporate Punishment. Fans can pre-order hard copies of Trigger Point's new album "Giving Up The Ghost" with an exclusive bonus track and sticker at this location. More...

Trigger Point has set March 25th, 2014 as the release date for the Shaun Lopez-produced sophomore album “Giving up the Ghost” via THC Music/InGrooves. In anticipation of the album's release, the band is streaming new single "Letters to the Living" online at this location.
"This was the first song we wrote for the album and it really set the tone for us both musically and lyrically. The song is about a dream I kept having about dying in a car crash," says Trigger Point frontman Taylor Wallace. "Having never gotten to say goodbye, I imagined myself writing a letter to my loved ones from the grave. The theme of the entire album is about letting go and moving on, both in life and in death."
Spring will also see the digital re-release of the band's debut “A Silent Protest,” available on all digital outlets 2/2.
LA’s TRIGGER POINT has begun pre production on their new album tentatively titled Giving Up the Ghost with producer Shaun Lopez (Deftones, Will Haven, Demon Hunter) at the helm.
Says vocalist Taylor Wallace, “We are all very excited about making this record. It pretty much captures everything we have been through in the last three years. The music is epic to say the least. We have been working on it just about everyday for the last year, and are finally ready to get in the studio and bring it to life.”
The band is set to begin recording on November 3 at LA’s Bomb Shelter Studios. Sessions will be predicated by the band’s last show of the year on November 2 at the Key Club in Hollywood playing with DAUGHTERS OF MARA.
