Maveth To Play Kill Town Death Fest
Finland's Maveth is the latest act to be confirmed for Denmark's Kill-Town Death Fest 2012, which takes place from August 30th to September 2nd. Further details on the festival can be found at this location.

Esoteric Announces New Album Title
Esoteric is back in the scene and the British doomsters' forthcoming album will be entitled "Paragon of Dissonance." The release has been described by vocalist Greg Chandler as a "varied and diverse mix of emotions and soundscapes."
The band's sixth full-length album will be released mid-November and will be a 2-disc set, like most of Esoteric's previous albums. Esoteric has announced that more news on the release will be revealed in September.

Esoteric Issues Vinyl Release Update
U.K. doom act Esoteric has issued the following update about releasing albums on vinyl:
"Finally, there is some progress regarding the vinyl project. Each album will be released on an individual basis, starting later in 2010 with the 'Epistemological Despondency' 2LP. Each album will be limited to approx 350 copies. Following the series of albums on individual LP - there will be a one-off box set containing all albums. The box set will be limited to approx 150 copies.
"Important: Any interest in the 'Epistemological Despondency' 2LP can be made now via email (aesthetic.death@virgin.net) to confirm reservation of a copy. No money required at this stage. Expected cost is £25 including postage. Any orders for the 'Epistemological' 2LP will receive priority on the next vinyl in the series. It will be possible to register an interest in the box set version at a later date - anyone buying all individual albums will receive first priority on the box set version."
Esoteric Recruits New Guitarist
U.K. doom metallers Esoteric have issued the following update about recruiting a new guitarist:
"We are proud to announce that Jim Nolan has joined the band on guitar. A very fine successor to the recently departed Kris Clayton. We are currently writing and rehearsing new material for the sixth album, which we will begin recording later this year at the Priory Recording Studios. We have shows in the UK, Italy, Belgium and Poland in the coming months. See calender for details."

Esoteric Writing New Album
U.K. doom metallers Esoteric have issued the following update about writing new material:
"News Update: Currently we are writing and rehearsing new material for the sixth album, which we will be recording at various stages throughout 2010 at Priory Recoring Studios. We have a few gigs lined up for next year so far (see upcoming shows section). If anyone wants to inquire about our availability, please get in touch through myspace or greg@sinistrous.demon.co.uk. We are still open for auditions for any prospective band members to replace the recently departed Olivier Goyet (keys/synths) and Kris Clayton (guitar). Currently Ilia Rodriguez (Pantheist/Indesinence) is filling in on 3rd guitar duties while we search for a permanent replacement."

Esoteric Seeking New Guitarist And Keyboardist
U.K. doom band Esoteric have issued the following update about seeking a new guitarist and keyboard player:
"Guitarist and Keyboard player required: We, Esoteric are currently looking for a replacement for our third guitarist, Kris Clayton who departed from the band earlier this year and also require a replacement for our keyboard player, Olivier Goyet who recently moved back to his homeland, France. Experience and own equipment are a necessity. The band has been in existence since July 1992 and is currently writing material for the sixth album. Regular gigs in UK and abroad. Esoteric Prepare To Record New Album
British doomsters ESOTERIC have completed writing and arranging material for their fifth album and are preparing to enter the studio to record the CD. The album will contain seven songs, spanning over 100 minutes, and will be released on double-CD format through Season of Mist.
In other news, plans are in motion to release a 10xLP box set through Aesthetic Death Records in the coming months. This will include all of the songs from the first four albums and will be the first vinyl release from the band.
ESOTERIC's most recent album, "Subconscious Dissolution into the Continuum", was released in June 2004 via Season of Mist.
Esoteric Welcome New Drummer
British doom metallers ESOTERIC welcome new drummer Joe Fletcher to the band. After 18 months, the guys have finally found someone suitably talented and disturbed to join them. ESOTERIC look forward to working with him both live and in the studio.
Alongside this comes the news that the band is looking for a third guitarist following the recent departure of Steve Peters. Please not that ESOTERIC is based in the Birmingham area of the West Midlands, UK, and that experience and dedication are essential. ESOTERIC have nearly completed writing and arranging their fifth album. So far there are over 100 minutes of material and the band hopes to enter the studio in the next month or two, so you can expect a possible double album for a late 2007 release.

Esoteric Seek New Drummer
British doomsters ESOTERIC are currently looking for a new drummer following the recent departure of Andy Semmens. All applicants must be experienced and have an open mind. Shape Of Despair Post New Audio Sample Online

Draconian To Record New Album
Draconian will enter Studio Underground in September to record the follow-up to last year's "Where Lovers Mourn." The new album, "Arcane Rain Fell," comprises 9 tracks of dark, atmospheric metal, and is to be a luciferian concept album that relates the tale of the fallen angels.
Also, Draconian will perform at the Doom Metal event "South of Heaven in Olso on November 12, sharing the stage with Doom/Death Metal legends Esoteric, among others.
Esoteric Re-release Metamorphogenesis
The doom metalheads in Esoteric have recently re-released their 1999 album, Metamorphogenesis, which was originally released through Eibon Records.
