Sludge/doom bands Black Urn and Shrine of the Serpent premiere the pre-release full-album stream of the two bands' upcoming new split release, which will be released on tape by Caligari Records on June 2nd.

Moros Announces Split With Black Urn

Doomed-sludge fiends Moros and blackened bludgeoners Black Urn are excited to release their exclusive, limited release split album featuring four new stunningly abrasive songs on February 27th.

Both bands are dominating the Philadelphia music scene and beyond with their filthy and unrelenting styles of miserable sludge, doom, and teeth chattering low-end riff obsession. With help in the studio from Jeff Barow (Ten Ton Hammer), Austin Haines (Outerheaven) and mastering from Alex Poole (Skaphe, Krieg), both Moros and Black Urn were able to see their massive soundscapes come to life.

The split release is available for pre-order and will be available on cassette and digital starting February 27th. Moros and Black Urn will celebrate the release at Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia with a free show. More...
