Cold Fell Streams "Bone Ceiling"

"Bone Ceiling" is the harsh new single from Manchester, UK-based black metal horde, Cold Fell. The song can be heard below and comes of the "Irwell" debut LP, which is nearing release through Argento Records.

Cold Fell vocalist Laurence Taylor issues with the new track: "'Bone Ceiling' is about a character enacting violent revenge. It's left open ended for the listener to infer their own story onto it - the lyrics imply that the prospective victim is a police officer or perhaps an employer, but it's quite a simple escapist and cathartic vehicle for each listener's frustrations. Cold Fell Streaming New Song

Manchester, UK-based black metal outfit Cold Fell will issue proper debut album, "Irwell," through Argento Records in early March, and today a stream of the first single lands online.

"Skull Crushed Against Salford Cobblestones" is the lead track on Cold Fell's "Irwell," the track ripping the listener wide open with subzero tones from its opening note serving as a prime introduction to the demoralizing acoustics of the entire album, which was mixed and mastered by Tom Dring at Vagrant (Dragged Into Sunlight, Corrupt Moral Altar), and features artwork by Mark Mc Coy from Youth Attack.

Cold Fell will release "Irwell" through Argento Records on March 3rd, digitally and on vinyl, with 150 copies on clear/black color-in-color, and 150 copies on solid black. Pre-orders are available here. More...

Cold Fell Releasing "Irwell" Album

Argento Records today confirms the March 3rd release of "Irwell," the debut album from Manchester, UK-based black metal outfit, Cold Fell. Named after a mountain in the Northern Pennines, Cold Fell's music reflects the outsider spirit and abrasive surrounding landscape.

"Irwell" was mixed and mastered by Tom Dring at Vagrant (Dragged Into Sunlight, Corrupt Moral Altar) and features artwork by Mark Mc Coy from Youth Attack.
