Within The Ruins Announce July Tour
Within The Ruins announce a new summer mini tour with Buried Above Ground and Sentinels. It will be the band’s first with their new vocalist Steve Tinnon, who replaced Tim Goergen earlier this year. Dates for this trek include:

Buried Above Ground Premiere New Music Video
Buried Above Ground premiere a new video for their song “The Crown“. The track arrives as the group gear up to hit the road on their first national tour, the ‘Chaos And Carnage Tour‘. That tour will find them opening for Carnifex, Oceano and more. “The Crown” also serves as the title track to the Buried Above Ground‘s new effort, out in stores on April 10th.
Buried Above Ground Posts "Serpent" Video
Buried Above Ground just delivered a savage and unrelenting new music video for the track "Serpent," which can be viewed below. DJ Gunnarson (guitars, vocals) states:
“This time around the video's concept was less about a concept or story at all, and more about what emotions certain visuals could stir up. We wanted to have a lot of dark imagery that correlated visually with those emotions. Instead of the standard single linear story-line mixed with random band performance shots, we really wanted to create a visual onslaught of different dark and visceral images that created unease and fear in the viewer.
"We felt that the video should be as visually unrelenting, as the song and lyrics are musically. This video is our defining statement to the masses showing what this band is truly all about, as well as how our music should be experienced. Buried Above Ground Posts Video / Full Album
Minneapolis, MN death metal band Buried Above Ground recently released scorching new full-length album, "Birth," to the masses. This past Friday, the band re-released the album as a deluxe edition with 10 extra minutes of music, which can be heard in full below.
In support of the "Birth" deluxe edition release, a terrifyingly sinful music video for the single "The Evil One" has come online. "The Evil One" video was directed by Jake Woodbridge, with cinematography credited to Anthony Cousins and lighting coordination by Sam Goldberger. The video was filmed in the abandoned basement of a former brewery in St. Paul, MN.
"Basically the lesson here is... humans make terrible pets," jests guitarist DJ Gunnarson. "We are extremely grateful for the work Jake and his team did in bringing this video to life. We had a loose concept in mind, and they really helped shape it into the video it is now." More...
