Maryland Doom Fest 2018 Lineup Announced

The lineup for next year's Maryland Doom Fest has been revealed. The annual festival, now in its fourth year, takes place at Cafe 611 in Frederick, MD (611 N Market St) on June 22-24, 2018.

Shadow Witch Releasing "Sun Killer"

Shadow Witch's "Sun Killer" album is coming via Snake Charmer Coalition on August 15th, 2016, with two advance tracks up for streaming below. The following press release was also issued about the band:

"Shadow Witch delivers a fresh idea on the stoner rock genre, and yet calls to mind influences of 70’s doom and 90’s grunge. Shadow Witch’s 'Sun Killer,' the debut full-length from Kingston New York's own, is all about the analog warmness within which each instrument is heard in all its fuzzed out glory crashing headfirst into each song. Huge guitars, big and booming Bonham drums and enough low end to cause speaker damage. And the vocals are flat-out awesome, like Ozzy minus the years of substance abuse, clear and impassioned."
