More Bands Added To Summer Breeze Lineup
More bands have now been confirmed to appear at the upcoming Summer Breeze Open Air 2011, which is set to take place from August 18th - 20th in Germany. The newest additions to the festival are Benighted, Blitzkid, Deadlock, God Dethroned, Hackneyed, Mad Sin, Postmortem, and Powerwolf.

Deadlock Updates Tour Schedule
As previously announced, Germany's Deadlock entered the German album charts on #61 with the band's new album “Bizarro World” in the first week of its release. The band states:
"Dear Deadlock-family, we are more than stoked that we entered the German album charts (#61) for the first time with our new baby Bizarro World! We and especially Sebastian put a lot of blood, work and passion into this album and we really appreciate your support. Hackneyed To Play Summer Breeze
Germany's Hackneyed recently signed to Lifeforce Records for the release of the band's upcoming third full-length album. Hackneyed has now announced an appearance at the 2011 edition of the Summer Breeze festival in Dinkelsbühl.
The Summer Breeze fest will be taking place from August 18th - 20th, 2011. Additional details on the festival are available at this location. Other confirmed bands include Deadlock, As I Lay Dying, God Dethroned, Arch Enemy, Enslaved, and many more.

Deadlock Posts New Album Teaser
Deadlock has posted a teaser song online from the band's upcoming album "Bizarro World," which can be heard via the Deadlock MySpace page. The band is set to release a digital single of the new track "State of Decay" On February 7th, with the full album being released on the following dates:

Weekly Rock Band Network Metal Song Roundup
Blame it on the liquored egg nog or a simple exuberance to finally tear open those beautiful packages under the tree, but somehow we didn't get up the list of new Rock Band Network metal songs last Friday. Just because it isn't the weekend doesn't mean you can't pull down the plastic guitars and get a-rocking, though, as this week sees quite a few new metal entries to the game.
The Xbox 360 version has been taken over by the likes of Dimmu Borgir, Arkaea, Battlesoul, Heaven Shall Burn, and Deadlock. On December 28th the PS3 version of Rock Band gets more Suicide Silence, All That Remains, and Between the Buried and Me. Continuing to beef up its metal selection, the Wii edition gets IWrestledABearOnce, Demon Hunter, and Asking Alexandria on January 4th.

Deadlock Issues Studio Update
German metal band Deadlock has issued the following studio update on their Facebook page:
"Hey fellas! As you might know, we're currently recording the successor to 'Manifesto' (2008) at Slaughter's Palace Studio. The new album is once again being produced and engineered by our musical mastermind and guitar/sound wizard Sebastian Reichl. Some first photos have been added to our albums - take a look! The new, yet untitled album will be released early 2011 via Lifeforce Records. More news, surprises and photos to come soon, stay tuned!"

Final Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2010
The organisers of Belgiums biggest metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, has confirmed the final bands for this years edition of the event. The biggest news is that Soulfly, the band led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, will be headlining the event on the Saturday. Other bands added to the bill include New York hardcore legends Sick Of It All, former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash, Hatebreed, Revamp, Oceans Of Sadness and Dear Superstar. The festival takes place in the town of Dessel from June 25th-27th.

More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2010
The organisers of Belgiums premier metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, has announced the addition of eleven more bands to this years bill. Among the latest acts are American supergroup Hellyeah, Australian rockers Airbourne and British heavy metal veterans Raven. The other confirmed bands are Katatonia, Evergrey, The Devil's Blood, Eluveitie, Finntroll, Dark Funeral, 3 Inches Of Blood and Sylosis. The festival will take place in the town of Dessel from June 25th-27th.

Four More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2010
The organisers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting festival has announced that four more bands have now been added to the lineup. The biggest announcement is that Aerosmith will be headlining the event on the friday. Also joining them that day will be reunited California grungers Stone Temple Pilots. Industrial metal legends Fear Factory will be performing at the festival and so will Atlanta based metal outfit Mastodon, who are still touring in support of their critically acclaimed album, "Crack The Skye."

Seven More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2010
The organisers of Belgium's biggest rock festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, has announced the addition of seven more bands to the bill. The biggest news is that iconic rockers Motorhead will be performing at the event along with Belgian metal veterans Channel Zero. Also added to the lineup are death metal legends Obituary, Swedish viking metallers Amon Amarth, As I Lay Dying, Job For A Cowboy and Ghost Brigade.

Deadlock to Support Lacuna Coil On German Dates
After a successful year 2009 including shows in Japan, Russia and all over Europe, DEADLOCK will support LACUNA COIL on their German tour dates. This tour marks a perfect finish for the "Manifesto" album cycle, just to start focusing on the next album after returning home from the trek.
