Aniqatia Posts New Single

"The Heiress" is the brand new single hailing from Eastern Pennsylvania-based Aniqatia and the impending "Luminous" sophomore EP.

As the sprawling new recordings from this exploratory, melodic quartet inch closer to mid-March release through Nefarious Industries, today a new track seeps into the public. Check out the song below.

Issues Aniqatia of the track premiere: "'The Heiress' is a song about the frustration and tension that goes along with having people in your life that you can't please, regardless of how hard you try. Musically, it's structured around that tension - the verses represent building it up, the choruses serve as a release for it, and the drifting middle sections are trying to escape it."

New album "Luminous" will be released digitally on March 11th, 2016 via Nefarious Industries, home to Maid Myriad, El Drugstore, A Fucking Elephant, Opul, and Bangladeafy. See the group live:

Aniqatia Streaming "February"

As Bethlehem, Pennsylvania-based Aniqatia prepares for the release of sophomore EP, "Luminous," through Nefarious Industries in March, the opening track, "February," has seen an early premiere online. Listen in below.

Aniqatia collectively offers of the song: "'February' was chosen as the first single off of 'Luminous' because it takes all the varying dynamics found on the EP and combines them into a roller-coaster of a song. The track contains a little bit of everything that we pride ourselves in as a band and we are eager to share it with everyone.

"Lyrically, 'February' explores naturalistic themes about the harsh Winter we had last year here in Pennsylvania. Most of the writing for Luminous happened during that very long and frustrating Winter, which gave way to the ominous tones that can be heard on 'February' and throughout the rest of the EP.

"Luminous" will be released digitally on March 11th, 2016 via Nefarious Industries and most digital retailers. You can also see the band live:
