Shadow Of Intent Posts "The Catacombs"

West Hartford, CT symphonic deathcore outfit Shadow of Intent just premiered a lyric video for an all new track entitled "The Catacombs," which can be seen below.

The song features guest vocal performances from Jason Evans (Ingested) and Dickie Allen (Infant Annihilator) and is taken from forthcoming sophomore album, "Reclaimer," which is set to be released on April 28th, 2017.

"Reclaimer" was produced and engineered by guitarist Chris Wiseman, with Buster Odeholm handling mixing and mastering, and features crushing guest vocal performances on several tracks from Jason Evans, Dickie Allen, Alex Shikolai (Slaughter To Prevail) and Tom Barber (Lorna Shore).

The band had the following to say about the new track: "We stepped out of our comfort zone a bit for this song. This is the first song we've written that's not focusing on melody or technicality, but rather heaviness and energy, all while trying to keep it 'us.' We tried to make every song on Reclaimer have a different approach and feel, rather than having every song on the album blend together. We also had the pleasure of featuring a couple friends of ours on this album, and for this track in particular both Jason and Dickie performed excellently." More...

Shadow Of Intent Releasing New Album

West Hartford, CT symphonic tech deathcore outfit Shadow of Intent is set to release debut full-length album "Primordial" on January 10th, 2016.

"Primordial" is a self produced effort and features a guest vocal performance from Dan Watson of Enterprise Earth (Stay Sick Recordings) on "The Cosmic Inquisitor." A 3 minute teaser clip taken from the forthcoming album is available below.

Pre-orders for "Primordial" in both physical and digital formats are now available via Shadow of Intent's Bandcamp page here.

The Halo-inspired two man project, comprised of vocalist Ben Duerr and multi-instrumentalist/producer Chris Wiseman, released an EP entitled "Inferi Sententia" in July of 2014. The pair had the following to say about the upcoming album release:

"On August 8, 2014, we began the process of writing 'Primordial.' As with any creative endeavor, the material has gone through numerous revisions to ensure that we were pleased with the end result. DIY recording sessions commenced in early July 2015, and we have to admit, there isn't a better feeling than being able to witness our own creative evolution, as the pieces slowly came together while we continued to build a diehard fanbase through hard work and determination. A lot of sweat and tears went into this album, and we couldn't be any more excited to unleash this beast into the world. We definitely appreciate all the support and hope everybody enjoys the record as much as we enjoyed making it!" More...
