The band comments: “We feel great about being able to throw things we love into the music: spy themes, surf rock guitars, 8-bit sounds, Giallo-esque touches and so on.

"Having that freedom turns the whole thing into something fun. Doing the artwork as a ‘Murder Mystery’ film style and creating teaser videos that emulate opening credits of vintage crime films or old thrillers. Putting all the work in is worth it.” More...

Opensight Reveals "Ulterior Motives"

Opensight has new material just around the corner - the London-based quartet has today dished the dirt on new EP "Ulterior Motives," a twisted blend of versatile influences that stretch far beyond the boundaries of metal, and even music. The following press release was issued about the EP:

The band are also inspired by film, as can be felt by the inclination towards composers such as John Barry and Ennio Morricone among others, as well as the movie poster feel of the EP cover below - designed by frontman Ivan David Amaya - and that’s not the last you’ll hear of the filmic side of the band either."

"Ulterior Motives" is due out September 9th and the track listing is as follows:

1. Alibi
2. The Chase
3. Vanishing Point
4. Ulterior Motif
5. Antagonist More...
