Demon Eye Streaming Album, Announces U.S. Tour

Occult metal collective Demon Eye will embark on a bout of live performances through Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and the group's home state of North Carolina this fall. The band's latest run of dates come in conjunction with the release of new full-length, "Prophecies And Lies."

"Prophecies And Lies" was captured by Corrosion Of Conformity's Mike Dean and finds Demon Eye's fiery fusion of heavy classic rock, proto metal, and traditional doom at its most intense to date. Out now in Europe, the album will be released in North America on September 8th and can be streamed below.

Demon Eye Posts "Dying For It"

"Prophecies And Lies," the forthcoming full-length album from North Carolina occult metal collective Demon Eye, will see release via Soulseller Records on August 11th in Europe followed by a North American release date of September 8th.

Captured by Corrosion Of Conformity's Mike Dean in the band's hometown of Raleigh, the eleven-track burner finds Demon Eye's fiery fusion of heavy classic rock, proto metal, and traditional doom at its most intense.

Today, the band's latest single "Dying For It" comes online and can be heard below. Issues the band of the track, "'Dying For It' is a hard-charger with a bit of Voivod dissonance meets classic Dio. Lyrically, it represents the loud voices we hear in the world, those who make bold claims, but who ultimately would never put their lives on the line for anyone else."

Demon Eye will a play a record release show in August alongside Captain Beyond, with additional live performances to be announced in the weeks to come.

Demon Eye Posts "The Redeemer"

"Prophecies And Lies" is the forthcoming full-length release from North Carolina-based occult metal unit Demon Eye. Set for release via Soulseller Records, the eleven-track burner was recorded by Corrosion Of Conformity's Mike Dean in the band's hometown of Raleigh.

In advance of its release, today "The Redeemer" is offered up for public consumption below. Issues Demon Eye of the track: "With 'The Redeemer,' the band was trying something new. The riffing is stripped down to a sparse pattern in order to create a powerful dynamic through melody and the use of space. Lyrically, the song is an observation on human behavior, and how emotions like fear and anger are flip sides of the same coin."

Furthermore, Demon Eye will a play a record release show this coming August with Captain Beyond, with additional live performances to be announced in the weeks ahead.

Demon Eye Streams "The Waters And The Wild"

North Carolina-based group Demon Eye will unleash third full-length album, "Prophecies And Lies," via Soulseller Records later this summer.

A monolithic display of mighty riffs, haunting melodies, and fist-raising anthems, the eleven-track burner was recorded by Corrosion Of Conformity's Mike Dean in the band's hometown of Raleigh.

"Prophecies And Lies" will be released on August 11th on CD, vinyl, and digital formats. In the meantime, sample album opener "The Waters And The Wild" via the Bandcamp player below.

The album was recorded at Seriously Adequate Studios in Carrboro, NC and is the follow-up to the band's debut, "Leave the Light," a record that Premier Guitar praised for its "hard-panned Lizzy-laden guitarmonies" and "doomy muscle of harder bands like Pentagram and Lonesome Crow-era Scorpions."
