Rozamov Posts "Serpent Cult" Video

As Boston's Rozamov winds down a U.S. tour in support of debut LP, "This Mortal Road," the band just released a new video for the track "Serpent Cult" - check it out below.

For the past three weeks, directly in the wake of releasing "This Mortal Road through" Battleground Records and Dullest Records at the beginning of March, Rozamov has been delivering the LP's psychedelia-strewn monolithic doom to audiences across the country, with the last show taking place tonight in Canton, Ohio.

The band checks in from the road about the new video: "We knew that we wanted to do a video for a song off This Mortal Road. We were also all pretty busy with life so we asked our bud Steve from Sea if he had any cool ideas he wanted to shoot. And the rest is history. We are really grateful to be surrounded by a collective of stellar artists in our scene. We work with friends whenever given the opportunity and this video for 'Serpent Cult' is no different. Hope you enjoy." More...

Rozamov Streams Full New Album

Boston doom metal quartet Rozamov will see debut full-length album "This Mortal Road" released tomorrow as a joint effort through Battleground Records and Dullest Records.

As the record looms on its public unveiling, today a full stream comes online 24 hours early. Listen to the entire record at Decibel Magazine here until after the release date (the Bandcamp player below temporarily only has 1 song from the album).

Issues Rozamov of the record: "All of our releases have been a snapshot of where we were as people and as a band at the time. This Mortal Road was written during a time of change for us and during the miserable winter of 2014/15. It is intentionally doom laden, reflecting the time and circumstances of its creation. We're in a very different place as people and as a band, now, more than a year since it's recording and with a new drummer. We're very proud of what we created and are so happy for it to finally see the light of day!"

Rozamov will also begin a U.S. tour at a record release show in Allston, Massachusetts the day "This Mortal Road" is issued, from there carving a clockwise path around the country through all of March. Hush will join Rozamov on first three shows in Brooklyn, Baltimore, and Richmond, and the tour also includes a set at Austin Terror Fest. More...

Rozamov Streaming "This Mortal Road"

Boston doom metal trio Rozamov has released the opening and title track to debut full-length, "This Mortal Road," as the album is prepared for release through Battleground Records and Dullest Records in March.

Rozamov states: "'This Mortal Road' encapsulates what this album is all about, which is why it's the title track. We wrote the album during the snowiest winter in Boston history, making life in the city just a constant draining struggle. It was a really intense time to live in New England, and the cold and isolation of that winter worked its way into the riffs and the lyrics, giving the record the feel of a long and intense journey. This song is the start of that journey."

The crushing production was recorded and mixed by Jon Taft at New Alliance Audio, and mastered by Nick Z at New Alliance East Mastering, then finalized with photography by Andrew Weiss and layout by Matt Martinez. More...

Rozamov Finishes Work On Debut Full-Length

Boston, Massachusetts-based doom outfit Rozamov has completed a first full-length recording, "This Mortal Road." The band has hooked up with diverse underground labels, Battleground Records and Dullest Records, who are now solidifying the album for release in early 2017.

Since 2011, Rozamov has left a mark on the US metal circuit with infectious psyche-tinged grueling doom, the band name having quickly spread beyond the local scene through touring abroad and opening for countless national acts. Having independently released two EPs - 2012's "Rozamov" and 2013's "Of Gods And Flesh" Rozamov now prepares to desensitize the masses with proper debut album, "This Mortal Road."

Rozamov entered New Alliance Audio in Cambridge to record the album. The result is a blistering sonic catharsis featuring the longest, heaviest and most progressive tracks the band has ever produced, the album recorded and mixed by Jon Taft at New Alliance Audio, and mastered by Nick Z at New Alliance East Mastering.
