Art Of Anarchy Posts "Echo Of A Scream"
Art Of Anarchy today debuts hard-driving new track “Echo Of A Scream,” taken off impending offering "The Madness," set for a March 24th release via Century Media Records. Listen in below, and a new music video for the aforementioned track is set to be shot at the end of this month.
The group is also currently preparing for a first-ever national headlining tour starting April 3rd - head over here for all dates and “meet and greet” VIP package options.
Scott Stapp states: “The track, 'Echo of a Scream,' is a chronicle of the curse of self doubt. It speaks to a place in life when confidence has been lost and you feel like your a shell of your former self or as the lyric describes it, an 'echo of a scream.' It touches on the internal dialog within the mind of someone wrestling with feeling disconnected from who they really are and lost in trying to find their way back to their true self. Its two competing voices, the negative self talk voice contrasted with the voice trying to fight it and overcome it.
"John Moyer brought the initial music bed to the band and we all really liked the drive and energy so we decided to track it. John while out with his other band Disturbed played the music for David Draiman (Disturbed) and David came up with a great melody idea for the chorus. Zac Maloy and I wrote the lyrics and then the melodies for the verses and the rest is history. This song was a true collaborative effort with Bumblefoot and John Votta writing monster solos. I'm really happy with how the song came out and its one of my favorites on the record. More...

That place where your back is against the wall and your left with two choices; cave in and crumble allowing whatever circumstance to break you forever, or to rise up and fight through holding on to that never give up spirit that lies deep within. I detail in the verses personal experiences, as I lived them, that have taken me to that critical place of choice. Am I to give up, stay down and fade away or get up, fight on and never surrender." Art Of Anarchy is gearing up to release a new effort debuting iconic vocalist Scott Stapp (Creed). This new hard-rock offering, "The Madness," is now officially set for a March 24th release - check out cover artwork and track listing below. The following press release was also issued about the album:
"Art Of Anarchy is one of the rare rock bands where each member has a strong identity, and together creates something special. No filler, just raw talent, and dedication to the music and being true to who they are. The members have collectively sold tens of millions of albums worldwide and have a rock pedigree that most artists would be content to rest their laurels on. But while AOA possesses the star power of a rock 'super group' in spades, the band’s focus is squarely on songwriting and musical craft.
"Lead guitarist Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal hails formerly from Guns N’ Roses, while bassist John Moyer first rose to fame as a member of Disturbed. Twin brothers Jon Votta (guitar) and Vince Votta (drums), meanwhile, first gained renown as fixtures on the New York music scene. The most recent addition to the group is Grammy Award winner Scott Stapp, the founder and lead singer of Creed. Stapp replaced the late Scott Weiland (of Stone Temple Pilots) as AOA’s lead singer." Art Of Anarchy Releases New Video
Art Of Anarchy has partnered with GuitarWorld.com to present the premiere of "Til the Dust Is Gone,” a music video shot by director Rage. Check it out below.

Jon Votta states: “When I was a teenager in the early 90's Guns N' Roses perfected what was the standard for any hard rock video. When I first saw the video for 'Don't Cry' and the band jamming on the roof top, that was to me, literally and figuratively, the epitome of making it and being on top of the world.
“Therefore, the main vision behind our new video was to replicate that ‘larger than life’ 90’s style of grandiose performances. The clip also features actor Booboo Stewart who also appeared in The Twilight Saga and X-Men: Days of Future Past.” More...
Art Of Anarchy Signs With Another Century
Art Of Anarchy - featuring Scott Weiland along with lead guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N’ Roses), bassist John Moyer (Disturbed), and introducing twin brothers Jon (guitar) and Vince Votta (drums) - has signed a worldwide deal with Century Media imprint, Another Century.
The band's debut self-titled album will be in stores and online June 8th, 2015. Art Of Anarchy states: “We're all excited our album will be released worldwide on Century Media/Another Century Records and the public will finally hear what this band stands for."
The band started out of an 18-year friendship between Bumblefoot and the Votta brothers, dating back to the local New York music scene. Jon Votta approached Bumblefoot with the idea of putting together a unique new rock band that would have people talking. They knew Weiland would be the ideal singer to handle the band’s musical diversity. Once Weiland was on-board, the band was completed by the aggressive, precise, melodic bass of career-rocker John Moyer.
Jon Votta co-wrote the album and shares lead responsibilities with Bumblefoot. According to Votta, “This is the record I always dreamed of making since I started playing guitar.” Vince Votta came up with the band name based upon these principles: it had to be extreme, uncompromising, and make a bold statement - much like his drum playing.
