Soulfly Announces Tour With Soilwork, Decapitated
Metal icons Soulfly will embark on a monumental North American headlining tour starting September 30th in Los Angeles, CA. The band will be supporting upcoming vicious new release "Archangel," which was produced by Matt Hyde and will be released on August 14th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
Joining on this epic campaign are Swedish melodic-death metal visionaries Soilwork, Polish technical death metallers Decapitated, and newcomer Shattered Sun.

Shattered Sun Posts New Music Video
Shattered Sun just released a music video for the pulverizing title track off debut album, "Hope Within Hatred," which will be available everywhere tomorrow via Victory Records.
Vocalist Marcos Leal elaborated on the experience of shooting the band's first video: “Filming this video was kind of our first introduction to our new lives. From the drive to Chicago, the 6:00AM wake up call, and the efforts of working non-stop for the next 14 hours, the hard work and dedication put into everything is something that's going to shine. We want to give our fans the best video possible.”
“Hope Within Hatred is a song about overcoming tremendous adversity,” Leal explains. “We wanted to show people with this video that sometimes the decisions we make can dig us so far down, that it would be easier to give up than fight to get out. But we can all break through if we want it bad enough.”

Slayer To Headline Rockstar Mayhem Fest
The Rockstar Mayhem festival enters its eighth year with another heavy metal and hard rock line-up, featuring 13 bands performing between the main stage and Victory Records stage.
The main stage will feature Slayer as headliner, as well as additional performances from King Diamond, Hellyeah, and The Devil Wears Prada. The Victory Records Stage will feature headliner Whitechapel as well as Thy Art Is Murder, Jungle Rot, Sister Sin, Sworn In, Shattered Sun, Feed Her To The Sharks, Code Orange and Kissing Candice.
Slayer's Kerry King comments: "I don't know if third time will be a charm, but it will definitely be hellish! Slayer and King Diamond on stage for the first time together in the States- NEVER has Mayhem been more evil. DON'T FUCKIN' MISS IT."
King Diamond adds: "This is going to be one hot and hellish summer! Slayer and King Diamond on the same stage - it does not get more devilish than this! Shattered Sun Gives You An Ultimatum
With less than a month before releasing debut album "Hope Within Hatred," Texas metal outfit Shattered Sun has partnered with Loudwire to unleash “The Ultimatum,” giving fans a taste of what to expect when the album is released on April 21st.
"'The Ultimatum' is our big fuck you to everyone who ever said we couldn't do this. No one ever expected us to go anywhere except for us,” explains vocalist Marcos Leal. “We gave ourselves the ultimatum to take the chance on following this dream or basically giving up - giving up isn't in our blood, it's just not who we are. This song is a testament to where we are today and the long road ahead of us, this is just the beginning.”
Wednesday, April 1st, marks the first date of the most crushing heavy metal tour to hit North America this year, the “Dark Roots Of Thrash II Tour,” where Shattered Sun will be performing alongside Testament and Exodus.

Testament Announces "Dark Roots Of Thrash II" Tour
If you think you've seen it all when it comes to thrash metal tour packages, think again.
Digging deep into the early discography that launched a worldwide career spanning two-and-a-half decades, battle-scarred ambassadors of Bay Area thrash Testament will be performing an exclusive headlining set comprised of select tracks from their first three albums: 1987's debut "The Legacy," 1988's "The New Order," and 1989's "Practice What You Preach."
Adding gasoline & road flares to the live pandemonium with direct support will be none other than mastery gunnery sergeants of thrash metal Exodus. Opening every show will be Texan metal cowboys Shattered Sun.
Launching their seventeen-date trek on April 1st with a hometown show in San Francisco that's sure to register on the Richter scale, the "Dark Roots of Thrash II" tour will hit fifteen additional U.S. cities plus Toronto, Canada, wrapping up in Georgia's capital city of Atlanta on April 23rd.

Shattered Sun Signs With Victory
Victory Records is proud to announce the signing of Texas metal ensemble Shattered Sun to its roster.
Hailing from Alice, TX, Shattered Sun quickly grabbed the attention of management team Breaking Bands LLC, led by Adrenaline PR CEO Maria Ferrero, one of metal’s original architects, Jon Zazula, and Testament front-man Chuck Billy.
Shortly after, Victory Records took note of the band's punishing brand of melodic metal, and will be releasing the new album, "Hope Within Hatred," on April 21st, 2015.
"This has been a day we have been working and striving for since we were 13 years old, just barely picking up an instrument.
