Seven Year Storm Posts "Morphogenesis" Video
Seven Year Storm, the Vancouver-based instrumental progressive metal band created by freelance drummer / instructor Sean Lang, has teamed up with Gear Gods to premiere the video for "Morphogenesis." Give it a watch below.
"Morphogensis" is taken from the new EP "Aion I," which dropped February 24th as the first of two EPs set for release in 2015. Lang comments:
"'Morphogenesis' is the opening track to 'Aion I' and features Archspire's Dean Lamb on lead guitar, whose legendary skills are showcased in this incredibly technical track. I hope you guys enjoy watching and listening to this song as much as I did composing and recording it!"

Seven Year Storm Streaming "Aion I"
Initially never planning to release his music compositions beyond the borders of just song writing, freelance drummer / instructor Sean Lang was urged by his circle of musician friends to take his creativity to the next level.
The outcome is Seven Year Storm, which showcases Lang's unique sound along with guitarist Dean Lamb (Archspire), who handles all the guitar leads and solos. Lang comments:
"I am very pleased to unleash the first installment of my musical vision, entitled 'Aion I.' It is available for immediate download on Bandcamp, and is coming to all major digital distributors in the coming days and weeks, including iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify. Physical discs (from an EXTREMELY limited run of 100) will be available for order, also through Bandcamp. 'Aion II' is already in a state of partial completion...the better 'Aion' I does, the sooner you will get to hear 'Aion II!'"

Seven Year Storm, the Vancouver-based instrumental progressive metal band created by drummer Sean Lang with added support from guitarist Dean Lamb (Archspire), has teamed up with Exclaim! Magazine to premiere the video for "Dyatlov" online.
"Dyatlov" is taken from the upcoming EP "Aion I," due out on February 24th as the first of two EPs set for release in 2015. Sean Lang comments:
"Inspired by the bizarre otherworldly events of the Dyatlov Pass Incident, this track (as well as the EP, 'Aion I') was never really meant to be released...until people heard it, demanded its release, and made it happen with a crowdfunding campaign. This instrumental track packs a punch, thanks to Archspire's masterful guitar wizard Dean Lamb, who is featured throughout Aion I."

Seven Year Storm, the Vancouver-based instrumental progressive metal band created by freelance drummer / instructor Sean Lang, with added support from guitar-wizard and good friend Dean Lamb (Archspire) - is offering fans a free song download of "Dyatlov" from "Aion I," the first of two EPs set for release in 2015.
Sean Lang comments: "This is the first single off of 'Aion I,' entitled 'Dyatlov.' It features Dean Lamb of Archspire on lead guitar, and I'm proud to finally release it. I'm making it available for free, so please share it around! 'Aion I' drops February 24th."

Initially never planning to release his music compositions beyond the borders of just song writing, freelance drummer / instructor Sean Lang was urged by his circle of musician friends to take his creativity to the next level.
The outcome is Vancouver-based instrumental progressive metal band Seven Year Storm, featuring the support of guitar-wizard and good friend Dean Lamb (Archspire).
To get these works of art off the studio floor, Lang launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise the necessary investment to complete the first collection of songs, which will be released in 2015 as two EPs: "Aion I" and "Aion II."
Lang comments: "I've been hard at work on my first release, Aion I. Here is a little taste of what is to come! This wouldn't be possible without the excellent musicians involved, as well as my amazing Indiegogo contributors who helped bring this project to life!" More...
