Fateful Finality Signs With Steamhammer

Fateful Finality has signed a world wide deal with Steamhammer. The label had this to say:

"Steamhammer/SPV herald the eventful months to come with their extremely promising new worldwide signing: thrash metal act Fateful Finality signed a recording deal with the Hanover label last Friday and are scheduled to release their second album Battery in spring 2015.

"The four-piece from Weil der Stadt, Baden-Württemberg, featuring guitarists/vocalists Simon Schwarzer and Patrick Prochiner, bassist Philipp Mürder and drummer Mischa Wittek, brought out their debut King of Torture in autumn 2011 and presented their own brand of modern thrash metal only one year later at the finals of the Wacken Metal Battle 2012. Their successful mix of clear vocals, aggressive screams and amazingly mature songwriting makes the group’s hard-as-nails sound all the more impressive.

"The eleven tracks on Battery were recorded at Hamburg’s Chameleon Studios with Eike Freese (Dark Age) and at the Chemical Burn Studios in Bad Kösen, Saxony, with Alexander Dietz (Heaven Shall Burn)."

Georg "Schorse" Schröder of SPV adds: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have signed this young German thrash metal band. I’m more than confident that Fateful Finality are set to cause a major stir with their upcoming album. This band will have no problem keeping up with established international acts in terms of sound and songwriting.”

Frontman Simon Schwarzer also has high hopes for this collaboration: “As a young band, we’re really proud and happy to have been signed by a renowned label such as Steamhammer. I’m sure we’ll be able to repay the trust that they have placed in us.”
