Worhs Announces Debut Album Release

The first Worhs album "Le Temps des Blasphèmes" is due to be released on November 11th, 2014 and a track from the album can be heard below. The following pres release was also issued about the band:

"Worhs was born in July 2014 as a collaboration between WLWD, Parisian musical journalist and Emir Togrul, turkish musician (Yayla, Viranesir, Blliigghhtted) under the name Destroyers of History. Their two monstrous egos met on more time then WLWD continued alone under the name Worhs, to release 'Le Temps des Blasphèmes' on November 11th.

"The concept of the album is axed on the strange relationship between introspection and dangerous cults in Turkey. The relationship is explored through the person of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his fight against religious dogmas and his soiled memory by the blind cult people allow him but as well the hate Turkish conservatives give him nowadays. In 'Le Temps des Blasphèmes,' the idea is to get free from thoughtless cults, to step back, to understand ourselves better to go forward.

"'Le Temps des Blasphèmes' is a very eclectic album that keeps an important black metal background, following a lot of different directions through a soiled sound which contributes to the atmosphere that is very important. Notice the use of the cello to record all the bass lines, and some more classical parts as well, the use of a lot of acoustics, and even an oriental way of singing which you can hear in 'Fanatisme?, the first single."
