With three releases under her belt ("Of Earth & Angels" [2012], "Otherworld" [2013] and "Kings & Queens" [2015]), Leah is now working on an upcoming, currently-untitled album featuring many of the players above, in addition to former Delain drummer Sander Zoer and Barend Courbois of Blind Guardian.

While fast at work on said record, Leah enjoys trying her hand at other musical endeavors and covers. Her most recent cover comes in the form of the main theme, "The Dragonborn Comes," from the wildly popular video game "Skyrim" of The Elder Scrolls series. More...

Eric Peterson Posts New Symphonic Winter Track

As the winter solstice arrives, guitar legend Eric Peterson (Testament/Dragonlord) and Canadian Celtic songstress Leah are revealing a brand new symphonic metal track titled "Winter Sun."

"Winter Sun" was written and recorded by five musician in different countries in three days by incorporating app technology.

"Leah and I orchestrated the vocals, drums, guitars and bass by leaving each other voice messages that you can record and can leave/make decent recordings of clips of music through WhatsApp," states Peterson. "Also, the sound quality is sharp enough that you can actually hear the dynamics well. It's truly amazing! It's a free app, so between Canada and Germany and Slovenia, that's some savings for sure! Pretty awesome!"

Leah adds, "I'm so excited about how technology has changed the music industry. Suddenly people are able to collaborate from all around the world and produce incredibly high-quality material. The possibilities are endless. Even something as simple as an app on a smart phone has completely revolutionized the way we write music. As a busy artist and mother of five kids, it was vital for me to be able to quickly record my vocal and lyric ideas and literally sing them into WhatsApp and fire it off to Eric in seconds. It made this song entirely possible." More...

Leah Releases "This Present Darkness" Lyric Video

The symphonic metal artist Leah issued a lyric video for the new track "This Present Darkness" from her upcoming release "Kings & Queens." The album is set for release on January 30th in Europe and on February 3rd in North America through Inner Wound Recordings.

"Kings & Queens" features musicians such as Timo Somers and Sander Zoer of Delain and Barend Courbois of Blind Guardian and Vengeance. Dubbed the heaviest of all her releases, the album dabbles in worldly Celtic, middle eastern, and New-Age flavors, while lyrically laced with epic imagery of dystopias, fallen empires, spiritual warfare, love and destiny.

Leah commented on the new album: "Kings & Queens is an important album to me, as the songs cover a range of emotions, musical styles and lyrical themes. One theme in particular is the historical and metaphorical grip around our throats we feel from top-down agendas that threaten our freedoms. It seems to be a never-ending game of chess between those who demand power and those who would preserve freedom. It's the theme of every good fantasy book and film, and the message rings true for even our modern world. In addition, the the line-up and stellar musicianship of the guys who came on board this project heightened the sheer epicness and caliber of the music itself. This has been my most enjoyable and rewarding project to date."

The track list for "Kings & Queens" is:

1. Arcadia
2. Save the World
3. Angel Fell
4. Enter the Highlands
