Requiem Posts Acoustic Video

California's Requiem recently filmed an acoustic version of the track “Sticks and Stones and Her Lovely Bones” at Indigital Studios in Santa Cruz, CA. Check out the clip below.

Schecter-sponsored guitarist and vocalist Jacklyn Paulette states, “This song was definitely interesting to play on acoustic guitars, but I think playing it this way really brought out the guitar melodies that tend to get a little buried when everything is in full blast.”

“A large portion of this song was actually written on the acoustic guitar, and it was later dissected and translated to the electric form you hear on the album,” adds guitarist Ryan Heggum.

Requiem Posts New Music Video

Requiem's brand new album, "The Unexplainable Truth," is out now via Cleopatra Records (E1) and today Alternative Press Magazine is hosting the premiere of a new music video for the lead single from the record, titled "Sticks & Stones And Her Lovely Bones."

The clip was directed by Tommy Merry and can be seen below. Requiem vocalist Steven Juliano states, “We are beyond excited to world premiere our new music video with such an amazing magazine like Alternative Press. This video really means so much to us. We put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the making of ‘Sticks and Stones and Her Lovely Bones,’ and it feels great to finally release this to the masses. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it!”

Santa Cruz, CA-based metalcore quintet Requiem just released a brand new teaser trailer for "The Unexplainable Truth," which can be seen below.

"The Unexplainable Truth" hits stores next Tuesday, October 28th via Cleopatra Records (E1). Stay tuned for a brand new music video for the band’s new single, "Sticks & Stones And Her Lovely Bones" coming soon.

The new album was recorded in Santa Cruz, CA at Sonic Shark Studios, mixed by JD Keiser at Laughing Lion Productions, and mastered by Nakasaki Sound. Catch the band live on these dates:

Requiem To Release New Album

Santa Cruz, CA’s Requiem caught the attention Cleopatra Records, and the label will release the brand new album, "The Unexplainable Truth," on October 28th, 2014. A pre-order for digital and physical copies will be unleashed soon.

The band features vocalist Steve Juliano of former Epitaph Records powerhouse band I Am Ghost, Daisy Rock Guitars-sponsored guitarist/vocalist Jacklyn Paulette, and Pearl-sponsored drummer Rick Siegfried.

Revolver Magazine today gives us a taste of "The Unexplainable Truth" with the new track "Where the Hell Did the Romance Go?" Listen in below.

“‘Where the Hell Did the Romance Go' is a classic example of the feelings you encounter during the ending stages of your romantic relationship with someone, which we can all relate to pretty well,” offers vocalist/guitarist Jacklyn Paulette.

Vocalist Steve Juliano adds, “This is the most personal album I have ever written, and it helped me regain enough strength and passion to dwell back into music. I had given up, to be quite honest, but I had one last thing to say to everyone before saying goodbye.
