Horrified Signs With Shadow Kingdom Records
Today, Shadow Kingdom Records announced the signing of U.K. death metal act Horrified. The first fruit of this union shall be the band's highly anticipated third album "Allure of the Fallen," which will be released this fall. A work of towering, melodic death metal majesty, "Allure of the Fallen" is the record by which Horrified continue the ascent and truly stakes a claim as one of the subgenre's elite - rendering a new modern classic to the canon. Hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne, Horrified was born in 2012 with humble beginnings. An acolyte worshiping the altar of old-school death metal, founder and creator Dan Alderson would later transform the project into a full band. Horrified Posts New Album "Of Despair"
The British death metallers from Horrified are now streaming their second album "Of Despair" online in full.
The record is a marked step up from the debut "Descent Into Putridity" album - while the former was a primal look into the old school of Autopsy and Cancer, this new strain incorporates strong flavors of Swedish influence: fans of Dissection, Edge Of Sanity and Sacramentum would do well to spin this record.

Newcastle death metal band Horrified today unveils details on upcoming second album "Of Despair," which will be released by Stormspell Records and Till You Fukkin Bleed on March 25th, 2016.
"Of Despair" showcases a marked shift from the band’s raw and primal death metal roots to an exploration of new pastures, including a blend of black and doom metal. A track titled "Infernal Lands" can be heard below.
“I hope this album resonates with people and hopefully moves them, just like my influences have done for me through so many years and difficult times,” says guitarist / vocalist Dan Alderson.

Horrified Streaming New Track
Having risen from the festering swamp of debut "Descent Into Putridity," the Newcastle-based death metallers from Horrified have shifted course and progressed into new territory with their upcoming album "Of Despair."
Frontman and mastermind Dan Alderson has instead sought inspiration from the frozen plains further north; the works of Dissection, Sacramentum and Unanimated joined his continued love of the Floridian scene, melding together into an intense hybrid that displays spectacular riffs and throat-ruining growls.

A thirty-minute journey into the pitch-black depths of the underground, the seven tracks are described as "a sordid blend of Autopsy, Pestilence, and Morbid Angel."
