"Heavy Metal Suicide" Split Streaming

Magic Bullet Records today releases the "Heavy Metal Suicide" split 7" between nihilistic West Coast hardcore faction The Infamous Gehenna and horror hardcore/punks Bleach Everything, pairing two intensely physical bands comprised completely of dyed-in-the-wool DIY punk lifers.

The Infamous Gehenna Announces Split Release

"Heavy Metal Suicide" pairs together The Infamous Gehenna and Bleach Everything, two intensely physical bands comprised completely of dyed-in-the-wool DIY punk lifers.

The Infamous Gehenna's contributions to "Heavy Metal Suicide: continue to thematically blur the lines between DIY and DUI with song titles on brand new scorchers "Looking To Score" and "Get Fucked Up!" Both tracks capture a point in the band's ongoing lyrical narrative of life and death where there is hardly any separation between the two and both are acceptable (so long as there is an escape therein).

Now scattered between Virginia and California, Bleach Everything turns in a third release (and second split) to date, this one fully embracing the tried and true philosophy of "short, fast, and loud," with each song hovering around the minute flat mark. Thematically, the band tackles topics like inauthenticity ("Witch, Please"), the environmental militancy of particular Godzilla rivals ("Silk And Scales"), and the strange phenomenon of many American adults attempting to address their inner voids with incessant breeding ("Human Mulligan").

For maximum impact across the audio-visual spectrum, "Heavy Metal Suicide" was mastered by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound, and is packaged within the bleak and non-subtle artwork of Chris Norris (aka Steak Mtn), with two cover color variations being pressed: white/black/red and blue/black/red. Three vinyl colors (red, blue, white) round out the first pressing of this violent pairing. More...

Bleach Everything Streaming "Facehugger"

As Richmond, Virginia's Bleach Everything unloads the "Free Inside" 7" via Magic Bullet Records, the EP's closing track, "Facehugger," is now playing online and can be heard below.

On the heels of a debut split 7" with Los Angeles-based Vors released earlier in the year, the "Free Inside" EP lyrically delivers rants focused on such themes as self-empowerment and self-reliance.

Closing track "Facehugger" meanwhile showcases the band's dark horror/sci-fi influences with a rampant space terror chronicle. Watch for updates on Bleach Everytrhing with recording news, tour dates, and more in the months ahead. More...

Bleach Everything To Release Split With Vors

Magic Bullet Records has locked a two-band split 7" for October release, marking the debuts of two fairly new names to the scene -- Richmond, Virginia's Bleach Everything and Los Angeles, California's Vors-- both of which include some very not new names to the scene. The label comments:

"Bleach Everything kicks off the festivities with 'The Moaner,' a demented little number about a violent man that lives in your attic undetected. Musically, the pace is as frantic and urgent as the final sands in the proverbial hourglass. Drums are crushed, buzzsaw guitars cut deeply across the speakers, and overdriven bass pushes along the possessed and just flat-out eerie vocals in a pre-meditated murderous game of musical chairs. Featuring current members of Iron Reagan, Suppression, and former members of Jesuit and Corn On Macabre, you know full-well it's going to be a completely twisted take on music as most people conventionally know it.

"Like all great bi-polar incidents and episodes, Vors complements the violent carnage of Bleach Everything via a deliberate, dead-behind-the-eyes ditty appropriately titled 'Mood Swinger.' Synth-heavy and glacially paced, the track sounds like it was written from the fire escape outside of the kitchen window you're obliviously walking around behind (towel optional). Drenched in the gritty low-budget outsider sleaze that defined many of the great VHS hits of the '70s and '80s, this could have easily been the soundtrack to 'Maniac,' 'Deranged,' 'Possessed' and the like. It's cold, it's rainy, and it's highly likely that Vors (aka J Bennett from Ides Of Gemini) is talking and laughing to himself while cutting the phone lines in your neighborhood.

"The whole bloody affair is packaged in a disturbingly meticulous and obsessive wrap from the hands and the mind of former Kink.com set-dresser STK MTN. This is the kind of record the brown paper bag was invented for."

Magic Bullet Records will let this auditory assault out of the bag on digital download and both black and white 7" vinyl pressings worldwide on October 14th.
