Austria's metal underground festival Sick Midsummer has announced the complete and final line-up of its 2017 edition. Sick Midsummer will take place on Saturday, July 8th, 2017, in front of the spectacular backdrop of the Austrian Alps nearby the small village of Scharnstein, including the following confirmed bands:

Monument Of Misanthropy: Sick Midsummer Fest 2017
Austria's metal underground festival Sick Midsummer has announced the addition of Austrian/French brutal death metal veterans of Monument Of Misanthropy to the billing of its 2017 edition. Sick Midsummer will take place on Saturday, July 8th, 2017, in front of the spectacular backdrop of the Austrian Alps nearby the small village of Scharnstein, including the following so far confirmed bands:

Outre Signs Record Deal
Polish black metal band Outre has inked a deal with Debemur Morti Productions, with the label having this to say:
"All those people telling me that black metal sucks nowadays: YOU ARE DAMN WRONG! Talent is everywhere. Those curious enough to dig through the endless piles of shit released every day can find themselves rewarded with BLACK jewels!

Outre Announces Vinyl/Cassette Release
After successfully releasing a debut full-length on CD, Polish black metal group Outre will be releasing "Ghost Chants" on cassette and vinyl.
The vinyl version will be once again handled by Godz Ov War, Third Eye Temple, and Essential Purification Records and is scheduled for release in the second half of September 2015 in a limited run of 400 copies, which will also include 66 strictly limited and exclusive wooden box copies.
The band's dbut full-length will also receive special cassette treatment. This will include two limited versions with different artwork; one will be released via Canada's Medusa Crush Recordings and one via Germany's Monotonstudio Records.
Outre will hit the studio this autumn to record new material for a split EP with Barshasketh, with the street date still under wraps. In addition to the recent In Flammen Open Air announcement, the band will be performing at the prestigious Brutal Assault Festival in Czech Republic on 5th – 8th August 2015. More...
Outre Posts Black And White Video
The twisted black metallers Outre from Poland have a new music video out for "Chant 6 - Vengeance," built around their show with Svartidaudi, Antediluvian, and Emptiness earlier this month.
The black-and-white video, edited by Kuba Leszko, conveys the tortured mania of the band’s performance, surrounded in fog and bright lights. Check it out below.
The band also revealed that this is the start of its presentation of latest album "Ghost Chants" onstage. The first appearance will be at Germany’s In Flammen Open Air on 2nd - 4th July, with more details to be announced shortly. More...

Outre Reveals New Album Release
"Ghost Chants" is a twisted beast of an album: the first full-length from Poland's Outre is a thirty five minute mindtrip of the highest order and will drop on April 14th via Godz ov War / Third Eye Temple / Essential Purification. The following press release was also issued about the album:
"The seven tracks each possess individual character, and yet amount to more than the sum of their parts: 'Vengeance' is a blistering romp enhanced by a similar triumphant stride to that of their compatriots in Behemoth, while 'Shadow' touches on the crazed mania of Deathspell Omega, while 'Equilibrium' stirs in a writhing primordial ooze of riffs from Damian Igielski. The work of drummer Maciej Pelczar is simply stellar, whether in relentless double-bass or rumbling grooves of Lament.
"Fans may have been saddened by the loss of vocalist Andrzej Nowak, but Stawrogin, who was asked to lay down the vocal parts on Ghost Chants, delivers an incredibly varied performance. From the chanting that marks the 'Departure' to his strangled rasps and icy sneers, or a roar not unlike that of Anaal Nathrakhs Dave Hunt when he intones Our heavenly father, who failed me!, he establishes himself as one of its kind.

Outre Posts New Song Online
After suffering a setback with the loss of vocalist Andrzej Nowak, black metal group Outre has unveiled a track from an upcoming album recorded with the participation of Stawrogin (Odraza / Massemord). The band comments:
"We are now finishing the production of our debut LP 'Ghost Chants.' With minor delay caused by our vocalist leaving, the vocals recording session are now heading to an end. We asked Stawrogin for help, who in our opinion is one of the best throats in Polish black metal underground, and so far we are more than satisfied with the effects of his work. A promo track 'Chant 3. - The Fall' gives a sneak peak of what you can expect on our debut long player. We gave our best to make this record as much essentional and intense as possible."

Outre To Release "Ghost Chants"
This Fall will see Outre's full-length debut album "Ghost Chants" emerging through Third Eye Temple, in cooperation with Essential Purification Records and Godz Ov War Productions.

"This time Outre will stray from the path paved by previous output, the EP and a split with Thaw, in favor of more aggressive yet compact forms.
