The unification of musicians in All Pigs Must Die -- including members of Converge, The Hope Conspiracy, Bloodhorse, and The Red Chord -- also head into Godcity Studio this month to record a third album, which will emerge in the new year through Southern Lord.

Gust Releases New Music Video
Trollhättan, Sweden's hardcore crust outfit Gust just premiered a first official video hailing from the band's self-titled debut LP for Southern Lord Recordings.
The video was cut to the mid-paced "Reality Chokes" crusher by director Jimmy Olausson and merges a performance-style delivery with projected graphic images and film. Check it out below, thanks to Metal Injection.
Comments Gust about the song and corresponding video: "'Reality Chokes' is a song about people blaming their miserable lives on those less fortunate. Instead of trying to see the bigger picture, and learning more about it, whatever it may be. Trollhättan, Sweden-based Gust this week releases a self-titled, sophomore LP via Southern Lord. You can stream the full album below. Southern Lord also comments:
"Self-recorded at Fvck Life Studios, and mastered by Brad Boatright (Warcry, From Ashes Rise, Deathreat) at Audiosiege, who also supplies guest vocals to the album, Gust is a crushing and incredibly dynamic album, displaying a unique style of crust-infused hardcore and talented songwriting from the young act.
"With ten tracks in just under a half-hour, the members of Gust unleash a maelstrom of cutting edge demolition, with cerebral elements continually emerging from the shadows with an almost ethereal effect. Gust Streaming "Humility In Disguise"
As Southern Lord prepares to release the self-titled second LP from Swedish cutting-edge hardcore act Gust, the first listening opportunity from the album is now available for public ingestion.

"The incoming ten-track Gust LP explodes with lyrical angst and musical fury from the get-go, bombarding the listener with catchy riffs and spot-on political statements, making it instantly obvious that Gust is a force with which to be reckoned. The album's seventh track, 'Humility In Disguise,' features guest vocal contributions from Brad Boatright of From Ashes Rise and others who mastered the album at his Audiosiege bunker.

Gust To Release Self-Titled Album
Southern Lord will soon be releasing a new album from progressive hardcore band Gust, hailing from Trollhättan, Sweden. Southern Lord comments:
"The fierce four piece skillfully combines pounding d-beat rhythms with a classic hardcore punk directness, and bring forth a maelstrom of metallic riffs, amalgamating into a brutal and arresting sonic assault fans of Cursed and Rise And Fall will swarm to.
"With one demo, one LP and four European tours already under their belt, and with a fifth tour running from June 24th through July 17th, Gust will release their brand new, self-titled album through Southern Lord Recordings this August.
