Evil Conspiracy Signs To Sliptrick Records
Evil Conspiracy has inked a new record deal with Sliptrick Records, and the label comments:
"For fans of Iron Maiden, Accept, old and new school thrash, Mercyful fate and some prog metal on top of that!
"Evil Conspiracy was born under the name of Legions in 2000, recording a couple of demos with different line-ups and changing to the current name in 2002. After recording more demo tapes, they did their first appearance in Örebro Sweden opening for Lost Horizon at their tour premiere… A few more gigs and a lot of fans more Evil Conspiracy was one of the headline acts at the Wretstock festival. In the early 2004 Evil Conspiracy was the supporting act at 'Dionysus' release party in Örebro, and received outstanding feedback from the audience.
"At early spring of 2005 Kjelle (Vocals) decided to leave the band, so Stefan Berglund from the Swedish doom metal act Memory Garden took in on the vocals duty.
"The first gig with Stefan was in December 2005 when they were the supporting act for the Swedish metal band Nocturnal Rites, and to tell you the truth it was a blast with Stefan on stage.
"And then they released the promo CD 'The Plague' with Mike Wead (King Diamond, Memento Mori, Candlemass) and Simon Johansson (Memory Garden, Fifth Reason, Abstarkt Algebra and more) as the producers.
"And in June, 2006 Stefan Berglund decided to join the band full time. In the Fall of 2006 they supported big acts like Evergrey and Sabaton. More...
