Polyptych Releasing "Defying The Metastasis"

Blood Harvest Records has set October 14th as the international release date for Polyptych's "Defying the Metastasis" on digipack CD. Polyptych is a metal band founded in Chicago, Illinois in 2008 that fuses several styles of extreme metal, ranging from black to death and doom. A statement from the band reads:

"We are excited to join the Blood Harvest family, who will be releasing physical and digital versions of our latest record, 'Defying the Metastasis.' This is a brand-new chapter for the band, and we couldn’t be happier to be releasing our music through Blood Harvest. We are already writing some new music that will once again seek to further push our musical and compositional boundaries."

Polyptych Premieres Title Track To Upcoming New CD

Chicago, IL death metal outfit Polyptych premieres title track to the upcoming new third album "Defying the Metastasis", which will be out in stores May 13. Defying the Metastasis was recorded in Chicago with Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos, Like Rats) at Bricktop Recording, and it was mixed/mastered by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress) at Woodshed Studios in Landshut, Germany.

Polyptych Releases New Album

Polyptych from Chicago, IL just released second album, "Illusorium," which can be streamed below or over at Bandcamp here.

The album was recorded at Groovemaster Studios in Chicago, IL by Dave Kaminsky (frontman of Autolatry), mixed by Dave Kaminsky at Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Fl, and mastered by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress) at Woodshed Studios in Landshut, Germany. The artwork for the album was done by Misanthropic Art.

Polyptych will also be opening for Leprous in Chicago, IL at Reggie's Rock Club on September 17th. The new album's track listing is as follows:

Polyptych Streaming New Songs

The Chicago metallers in Polyptych are streaming two songs from their forthcoming album "Apotheosis,” which is planned for an early June release. Check out the title track and "Aphelion" below.

Polyptych has recruited Manuel Tinnemans (Deathspell Omega, Rotting Christ, etc.) to complete the artwork for Apotheosis, which was recorded at Groovemaster Studios in Chicago.

"Apotheosis" was mixed at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, Florida by Dave Kaminsky of Autolatry. V. Santura of Triptykon handled mastering duties at his Woodshed Studios in Germany. More...
