Frameworks Posts "Smother" Album

The new Frameworks album "Smother" is due out on July 8th, 2016 via Deathwish, but today all 11 tracks have come online for advance listening.

Frameworks Streaming "Fear Of Missing Out"

Frameworks has a new track online for streaming titled "Fear Of Missing Out," which can be heard below and comes off the "Smother" album due out in LP / CD / cassette formats on July 8th via Deathwish.

The album was recorded by Matt McClellan (Being As An Ocean, O’ Brother, etc) at Glow In The Dark Studios and mastered by Brad Boatright (Converge, Self Defense Family, etc) at Audiosiege Mastering.

Deatwish Inc. comments that “Smother” is "a massive leap forward for Frameworks. The album dynamically pulses with hook-laden melodious riffs and moving emotional crescendos. Frameworks Working On New Album

Frameworks has a new album in the works due out later this year via Deathwish. The label also comments:

"Since their 2011 inception, Gainesville's Frameworks have quietly become a favorite of many in the emotional hardcore scene. Creating music in the vein of Touché Amorè, Explosions in the Sky, Envy, and other powerful artists.

"After a string of EPs in their early years, Frameworks released the 'Loom' album on Topshelf Records in 2014. Recorded with engineer Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor), the album was well received worldwide by critics and listeners alike.

"Frameworks have now returned with a new EP titled 'Time Spent,' out February 5th on Topshelf Records. Recorded at Glow In The Dark Studios with engineer Matt McClellan, the EP shows a darker side of the band as they incorporate experimental instrumentation into their sound. Frameworks Streaming "Loom" EP

"Loom," the debut full-length from Gainesville, FL post-hardcore quintet Frameworks, is streaming in full below, courtesy of Stereogum.com, in advance of the April 29th release date via Topshelf Records.

The album was recorded by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor, Comadre) in his Atomic Garden Studios in San Francisco and sees Frameworks sprawling into more experimental territory.
