For those who missed our previous three articles discussing various games with heavy metal soundtracks, be sure to go back and check 'em out (and let us know if you end up playing or re-playing any of these gems!):

Part 1: the amazing Brutal Legend, Saints Row III, Killing Floor 2, Pain Killer, and Guilty Gear X2 Reload

Part 2: Splatterhouse, Twisted Metal 2, The Witcher's bonus music disc, and Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost And The Damned.

Part 3 (the retro edition!): Rock And Roll Racing, Beavis And Butthead, F-Zero X, Earthbound, and Heavy Metal Geomatrix

Part 4: the return of music games with Rock Band in addition to Carmageddon, NeverDead, and NeverGone. More...

Brutai Posts Bloodstock Footage

Following a successful performance at Bloodstock Festival 2016, Brutai just released some exclusive behind the scenes footage, alongside a live montage synced to the reworked album version of the song "Relapse." Felix Lawrie says this about the track:

"Lyrically, 'Relapse' is about the ongoing battle with addiction. We can all get addicted to something that takes away the pain. Some people have an ongoing fight with this illness everyday - and it is something that has the ability to consume you and deeply affect others around you.

"Addiction can come in many different vices such as alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, sex, and more. There aren't many known cures for it either; just acceptance, and learning how to deal with it better in your own way. Everyone can relapse but what's important is how we respond to it."

The band also just recently signed to Transcend Music, and new album "Born" will be out on the 25th of November, 2016. More...

Brutai have begun to plant the seed to their success and the London based quintet are to release their debut full length "Born" on Friday, November 25th, 2016. The record was mixed and mastered by Matt Hyde (Slipknot, Bullet for my Valentine, Fightstar).

Transcend Music had this to say about the signing: “We’re really excited and proud to have Brutai join the Transcend Music family. A harmonious blend of modern, progressive and memorable music, this is the debut album fans have been waiting for. Felix Lawrie- Frontman/guitarist says: “The time has come to unleash what we’ve been building for the past year. We’ve come to the point whereby we have the perfect line-up, the perfect team surrounding us, and an album that has our absolute everything, poured into it. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did creating it."

2016 has seen the band go from strength to strength since the release of their catchy comeback single, "Deep" (check it out in the player below). Hereon, the band went on to demonstrate that they could take what they’ve built in the studio - direct to the stage.
