Loudguns Posts New Singles
The wait is finally over for 80's hard rock fans: after a year of hiatus the thunderous Fnnish group Loudguns is back with a new double single release including two new tracks: "Billie The Queen" & "These Dreams."
These two tracks are culled from upcoming 3rd album "Revolution Days." Loaded with a new singer Olli Kärki, Loudguns launches this new era with a bang. Both songs have now come online via YouTube in the form of lyric videos - check 'em out below! More...
Loudguns Releasing New Album
Loudguns today reveals the artwork and a first teaser for an upcoming album. Once again the Finnish six-gun crew has been working extremely hard: right after announcing a newly recruited singer, the band went straight into the studio to record new material for third album "Revolution Days."
Sami Pilve from Loudguns comments: "We know it's a lot different artwork than our previous ones but it was a very conscious decision to do so. I had this dream a while ago about this simple white brick wall with a red logo on it, so it almost felt like the only possible choice. Also since we had a little line-up change we wanted to loosely make a statement about our new chapter."
Loudguns also announced a new single will drop on the 3rd of February featuring album tracks "Billie The Queen" & "These Dreams." More...
Loudguns Recruits New Vocalist
Finland's very own hard rock six-piece Loudguns today announces new singer Olli Kärki into the line-up almost a year following the departure of the group's previous vocalist. Loudguns comments:
"We are super excited to have Olli as our new singer. Olli is without a doubt one of the greatest rock singers ever to come out of Finland and he is very charismatic frontman. His tone is similar to Sammy Hagar and I was just blown away when I heard his voice for the first time.
"When we auditioned him the poor guy had just survived a very tough cold and still he sang like a true warrior! Both the band and Olli are very excited to make the 3rd Loudguns album the best there is and the new songs are pure hit circus, so we can't wait to hit the studio." More...
Loudguns Posts New Single
The Finnish six guns are at it again, creating hits to rock the hell out of every 80's rocker out there: the new Loudguns single "Who Needs A Heaven" is a little taste of the new album "Revolution Days" set to be released in 2016.
This 3rd album from the band won't be featuring the voice of singer Lassi Vääränen anymore, as Loudguns enters the studio with a new singer in January. Sami Pilve comments:
"We're truly awesome friends with Lassi and forever will be, it's just that all the schedules became impossible to fit in, so it was Lassi's decision as a gentleman he is to leave the band for as he didn't want to be the one slowing things down. I really appreciate it and we wish Lassi the best of luck with everything! With this said 'Who Needs A Heaven' is the last song with Lassi on vocals and it won't be featured on the 3rd album, so it's a super special release." More...
Loudguns Signs Record Deal
Finland's very own Loudguns continues to stand loud 'n' proud and just signed a record deal with Rock It Up Records / City Of Lights Records from Germany. Sami Pilve from Loudguns comments:
"This is a great way to start our new year, it's a dream come true. We've been offered all kinds of deals throughout the past 4 years but finally we found something we can rely on.
"It's really heartwarming to know that there are actually still labels out there who cares about the form of art, which is music and we are truly honored to work with this label.
"Rock It Up Records/City Of Lights Records will release our second album 'Sunset Runaway' on CD during the Spring. We can't tell you the exact dates yet but keep following and we'll let everyone know asap."
Loudguns Posts Holiday Greetings Video
Usually the holidays are time for relaxation but not for the Finnish outfit Loudguns, which just released an official season's greetings video where the band announces plans to enter the studio on February of 2015 and record new material, followed by a new video shoot in March.
Sami Pilve comments: "The holidays are pretty busy time for us and for me, we are rehearsing some old and new material and keeping the focus on our new release for as we are determined to make it the best material ever by Loudguns.
"This band is on fire at the moment and the chemistry between all of us including the two new members is just phenomenal. We hope to get that great positive energy to shine through our new recordings." More...
Loudguns Announces Lineup Changes
Finland's Loudguns has parted ways with Heikki Kokko (guitar) & Jussi Kallava (drums). Guitarist Sami Pilve comments:
"We are all still amazing friends and we had nothing personal grudge or fights between us. Now we are thrilled to announce that our gun has been reloaded with two amazing bullets to give you even more ass kicking hard rock in the future!"
The band has now announced the recruitment of Henri Saarinen is a new axeslinger and Toni Lehmusoksa as the new drummer. Pilve adds:
"We are writing and rehearsing new material and we'll be heading into studio to record new songs after Christmas! The year 2015 will be the year of the guns!! Just wait 'till you hear our new material!! Stay safe, Take care and stay Loud! 'cause LOUDGUNS will be Louder than ever!" More...
Loudguns Posts Album Teaser
The Finnish band Loudguns today reveals an official teaser video for upcoming second album "Sunset Runaway." Check it out below.
This new album features 12 new hard rock hits to rock the hell out of you. Band founder Sami Pilve comments: "This definitely has been a difficult project to pull off but we're done and we couldn't be happier with the outcome of the new album. It really sounds more like us as a band than the first one."
The exact release date is TBA, and the band is planning to tour Finland during the Fall after Summer festivals and is planning to do a small tour in England in November. More...

Finnish outfit Loudguns has released a music video from upcoming second album "Sunset Runaway." Check out "Loud 'n' Proud" in the player below.
The video was shot and produced in the band's hometown of Tampere, Finland by the local duo Oona Järvinen & Risto Närepalo.
