Simulacrum Recruits New Vocalist
Simulacrum is now warmly welcoming vocalist Erik Kraemer as an additional singer to the band. The group comments:
"His singing style will be a great asset both live and on the next studio album that is currently being written and is heading towards the modern realms of djent. Even though Erik represents the high pitched traditional power metal sound, the coloring of his voice differs from Niklas' in a way that lets them both shine and it is easy to spot which one of them is singing on the songs."
Simulacrum released second album "Sky Divided" in August 2015 via Inverse Records. Stay tuned for more upcoming info on the band's activity. Simulacrum now consists of:

Simulacrum Posts "Sky Divided" Video
Simulacrum just released a music video for the title track to the "Sky Divided" album, due out August 28. Check it out below, and the band comments:
"The composition featured in the video is the album's title song. We follow the bunker survival battle of a soldier unit in the dismal post-apocalyptic world of the near future. The song reflects Simulacrum's present sound, which is heavy and progressive but without forgetting excellent melodies.
"The next music video 'Embrace The Animal Within' will be released on the 28th of August and it represents the band's power metal side. Both videos are produced by Dark Noise Productions and directed by Esa Jussila."

Simulacrum Posts Album Trailer
Simulacrum has released a video teaser for upcoming concept album "Sky Divided." The video presents the versatile sound of the band which, in some occasions, bows towards classic progressive metal but in others, ventures into unexplored grounds. Check it out below.
The next important dates in Simulacrum's calendar are the 14th and 28th of August, when the band releases two large-budget music videos that deepen the post-apocalyptic world of "Sky Divided."
The album will be released on the 28th of August on CD as well as on digital download by Inverse Records and a copy bundled with autographs can be pre-ordered at this location. Simulacrum is:

Simulacrum Reveals New Album Details
Fans of progressive metal are offered a real treat when Simulacrum release new concept album, "Sky Divided," through Inverse Records on the 28th of August, 2015.
The artwork was handled by Jan Yrlund, who has worked with such artists as Manowar, Stratovarius & Sirenia and the cover portrays the post-apocalyptic mood of the album's title track. The full track listing is as follows:

Simulacrum Signs With Power Prog Records
Finnish progressive/power act Simulacrum signed on with Power Prog Records for the release of the sophomore, yet untitled, album, which is expected later this year. The band was formed in 2000 and self-released the debut album "The Master and the Simulacrum" in 2012.
The new release is an post-apocalyptic prog-metal concept album. The first single and music video "Deep in the Trenches" was released today and can be viewed here:
