Ommadon Releasing New Album
Medusa Crush Recordings is proud to announce that the 8th of April, 2016 will see the release of the latest full length from Scottish doom duo, Ommadon.
Following on from the 2015 "Empathy For The Wicked" release on Golden Antenna, the Ommadon pair's new LP sees them conjure up another 40+ minutes worth of their innovative take on punishing, instrumental doom-drone.

Ommadon Streaming New Track
"Empathy For The Wicked" is the forthcoming new manifestation of sonic devastation from U.K. drone/doom twosome Ommadon, due out July 15th. This new album follows the suppressing doom of 2014 double LP, "V," which earned a spot on Rolling Stone's 20 Best Metal Albums Of 2014.
Levying just one rapturous track broken into two parts, "Empathy For The Wicked" was recorded live, mixed by Ommadon, and mastered by Billy Anderson.
In celebration of its impending release, today the thundering resonance of part one can be heard below. Ommadon Has "Empathy For The Wicked"
Following the crushing doom of 2014 double LP, "V," which earned a spot on Rolling Stone's 20 Best Metal Albums Of 2014, Ommadon continues its perpetual quest to achieve sonic annihilation of the self through unadulterated heaviness with "Empathy For The Wicked."
Boasting just one earth-rupturing track broken into two parts, "Empathy For The Wicked" was recorded live, mixed by Ommadon and mastered by Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Zoroaster, Eyehategod, Taurus, Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth etc.), who gave it the final crushing touches it deserves.
Where Ommadon's previous scores were all recorded in the Highlands of Scotland surrounded by forest, "Empathy For The Wicked" marks the band's first release to be recorded on an industrial estate in urban Northumberland surrounded by the dregs of humanity.
The first track from "Empathy For The Wicked" was originally recorded for the cassette split with Horse Latitudes and Coltsblood. During that session, Ommadon decided to continue recording through the night and drone out the riff which became the second side to "Empathy For The Wicked."

Ommadon Streaming Forty Minute Track
UK drone/doom duo Ommadon today drops the sonically devastating new full-length, "V," stateside via Domestic Genocide Records.
"V" was executed and recorded live by Ommadon on The Hill Of Maud in the Scottish Highlands over the Winter of 2012/2013. Split across four sides of vinyl, the 180 gram double LP was mastered by Billy Anderson (Sleep, Eyehategod, High On Fire).

UK drone/doom duo Ommadon is set to release monolithic new album, "V," next month on August 5th via Domestic Genocide Records.
"V" — which clocks in at neatly ninety chest-caving minutes — was recorded completely live in a forest in the highlands of Scotland. Split across four sides of vinyl, the 180 gram double LP was mastered by Billy Anderson (Sleep, Eyehategod, High On Fire etc.) and worships at the altar of all things decibel-challenging.
